Arlington Ridge Golf Club
About
Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

fun to play
course in great shape. could trust your ball rolling true on nice greens . very fun to try. had a good time. will come back
Great course and a great staff!!
I played this two days in a row. The course is lovely, well-groomed, and a nice layout. The staff is especially friendly-Jim in the clubhouse was great!!
I will be golfing here every time i come down to visit my folks.
Kudos to you Arlington golf team! You rock!!

Good value, great conditions.
We were placed in between a shotgun start and the groups in front of us were slow. The group behind us was playing speed golf so they were on our buts the whole round. The ranger/starter was annoying as heck, rushing us to the tee and eagle-eyeing us because I believe the group behind us was complaining. We were waiting on the group in front of us though!! Other than that, course was great and layout is awesome! The 19th hole is usually great but they did not have a menu on Mondays which I find strange. Just hotdogs. The practice facilities are great too! Definitely recommend, just tune the annoying ranger out. Lol
Beautiful Course, needs a ranger
I drove 60 miles to play this course as I had read some great reviews. The reviews were right on. The course is in beautiful shape, greens rolled true, and with 5 tee boxes, you can make this course fit your ability. I went out as a single and am used to slow play. However, I ran into a group of 6 golfers, yes, that's right, 6 who didn't let me play through until the 5th hole. Then, on the 7th, there were two threesomes in front of me. I timed how long it took in between shots and at one point, it took over 10 minutes to tee off and then another 8 minutes in between shots. After a three hour 9 hole endurance, I decided it was best to go home. I don't mind waiting, but this was the slowest golf I have ever played. If a ranger were present to help speed up play, the round would have been much more enjoyable. I will come out in the summer and hope to play all 18 holes.
Excellent
The course is in the best condition , the fairway is excellent and the greens are excellent. Keep the good work up.
A challenging experience
Please to see the head pro Jim Hall, at the counter, he does a great job. I find the course a little tough for me and others my age. (81). We play the whites, and they are fine. It the distance to walk up to the tee boxes and greens. Some are located a long way from the golf cart paths. Some greens are 50 to 75from where you park, and elevated. The course was in excellent condition, The greens were the best I've played in the area, and the fairways were a lot better then when I played last 7 months ago.
I will be back as soon as a deal comes up for me, on golf now.
Well worth a visit
Overall the course and facility's were excellent, backed up by very friendly staff
Very happy with my day at AR
Booked a last minute one spot left tee time at 3:15 for only $10. Got to the course at 2:45 and there were people and carts everywhere. There is a weekly outing for a local group of about 40 at, you guessed it, 3:15. Pro shop guy said there must have been a mistake but they would take care of me. They were awesome - one guy unsuccessfully tried to find a group already out on the course I could join, and the pro shop guy was calling the on course maintenance staff asking where there was an open spot on the course. I was treated like an important member - not a GolfNow player there on a discount. Despite their efforts, I ended up teeing off alone and once the outing quit after nine holes it was clear sailing. Course is in excellent shape - better than almost every local course in its price range. Give this place a try - it is a great deal at any GolfNow price. I will be back often after how I was treated on Thursday afternoon - hats off to the staff.
very enjoyable course
Course is in excellent condition. Greens and fairways are in great shape. Wide open course not to much trouble. Played early morning in 3.5 hrs.
Great Jem
I had forgotten how nice this course is. Challenging and was in Great Shape. The greens were firm and fast. Fairways were in great shape as well, ball sat up nicely when you kept it in the fairway.
The only thing I would complain about is the service at the front desk and the service was extremely slow at the restaurant. The front desk seemed put out when we checked in. Maybe because we weren't members.
The waiting staff seemed to pay attention to the locals and members rather than us. We had to wait an extremely long time to get a drink or food. Almost walked out!
Gary Koch design
Nice flat Gary Koch design. Design allows open entries into most of the greens making it a fun course for the average player. Course s in good condition and a good value
Overseeded
These fairways had some grass on them. Most we have seen in this area. Greens were a little slow but smooth. 5 tee boxes. We will go back.
Excellent track!
Well manicured greens with consistent rool, fairways green and in great shape. Enormous fun to play. Highly recommend. GO! PLAY!
slow play
I played there on other peoples observations. It's very wide open but the condition of the course was very good. You can't have 7 min. intervals on tee times and expect a nice flow of people movement. when you have to wait at every tee box, it really messes up your tempo and rhythm.the price was right so i can't complain too much.
Arlington
Signed up as a single, last minute decision, joined up with a 3 some on the 1st hole, one of which was from the small town in Wisconsin where I was born and raised. Had a very enjoyable afternoon. Thanks Vinnie, Dick, and Doug.
Great Course and Practice Facility
I love the facility and course, but it's a shame they stopped the monthly unlimited practice membership.
First of all, thank you for your comment and we certainly appreciate your loyalty. We still have an unlimited practice membership, which we call our Range Member Program. Currently, the fee is $29.95 plus tax per month and you may pay for as many months as you wish.

Great greens
Really enjoyed playing this course it is forgiving and the greens are like you get on $100+ courses .
We had a ranger on the course earlier in the day, but they are generally here during peak times (9-2) so there wasn't one on the course when you teed off after 3:00. I checked on the group of six and member told me he had permission from starter, who was told by member that Pro Shop had given him permission to play six. Unfortunately, the starter did not confirm this with the Pro Shop, which did not give the member approval. I spoke to the member, who is fairly new to our club, to make sure he now understands our policy of foursomes only going forward. Our apologies and we do appreciate the kind words regarding the condition of our course. I'll be sure to pass your comments on to the golf course superintendent!
