Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Enjoyed the Course
Went as a single. Manager joined me with a 2 some. Starter was very efficient. Identified our 3 players and we're able to start early. Thursday morning round and took 4 1/2 hrs. Would definitely play again.
Arlinton Ridge
I like this course, very well maintained tees and fairways, greens roll smooth and true, not too fast and not too slow.....Everything is right out in front of you, no blind shots, or unseen hazards. A fair test for golfers of all skill levels...I will return for sure....
Play it again
Lots of room to drive the ball. Green speed was good but some were a little choppy. The holes won't wow you but it is worth playing again.

Haven't played here for over a year and was surprised how the course had improved, lush fairways (not a weed to be seen ) and greens in great condition.
The course was full so it was a slowish round, but then so is everywhere else at this time of year.
Staff friendly, great 2 for 1 drinks in the bar, ate in the restaurant afterwards and food very good.
Thanks Arlington for a great day out ...good value for money !

Course was in great shape. Customer Service was excellent.
And, I had my first ever "hole in one" on the par 3 7th hole. Very exciting.

This course is in the best condition of any course
in the area. The only course with grass in the
fairways in this area , not food coloring on dirt
like most of the other courses.

a must play, fairways are best looking I've seen and greens are excellent condition.
Fun course
This course is generous off the tees, and a very forgiving layout. Good for most players. The lower handicap player would not find this enough of a challenge. Every green can be played with a bump and run type shot from the fairway. You would only need to play the ball into the air, if you got off the fairways. But still overall it provides a good day out.
Awesome layout
Great course, awesome layout. For a shorter course, it definitely is a challenge requiring shots to be made. If you're out of position, it will get you.
Arlington Ridge
New managers seem to have things under control. There are subtle differences. Greens seem to be in much better shape, particularly hole #5. Trimming the big old oak tree on #8(?), has made the hole a bit easier as the fairway target seems wider. Overall, look forward to playing it again real soon.

Golf course has well kept greens. Good afternoon of golf.
Not a difficult course, but justwhat I need as a beginner.
Very good conditions
Course in much better condition than previous years .greens were fast. challenge was evident. good course overall.
course did not meet expectations
Course could be in better shape. Pace of play was very slow for the number of golfers. We were not able to complete our round. Played AR approx 2 yrs ago and recall the course being in better condition. My wife & I are looking for a home in the area & had considered AR until our recent round of golf.
this course was ok
very open and looks a lot like a farmers field but gets better after the first few holes. Any ok course if you get if for the right price.
This course is well maintained
Good staff and nice peoploe. Some of the hazards on the course are very challenging. Par three are all challenging.
Great value
Curse condition, very good, greens fast but fair. Wise open for a residential course, not tight and the houses are not always in play.
was as nice
was a nicely conditioned course.....in the last 6 to 8 months it has gone downhill...genericly keep ,the greens and the rest of the course is below average at best...what was once in great condition is now run of the mill at best...and no,i did not play bad...i actually played well...however that has no bearing on my opinion of the course....Gary Koch (he designed it) would be upset to say the least.....
