Arlington Ridge Golf Club

About
Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

The members here seem to think that they own the course…. Let them have it. Conditions are lousy, you can’t tell where fairways end and rough begins., greens are like shag carpet. Looked for a cheap course, found it and unfortunately, got what I paid for.
Need hot deal to justify.
Played here before. Not much has changed.
For normal book rate I think there are better course options. Hot deal rates make sense to play. Just not a real exciting course to play.
Good Value for the Money
The course was in decent condition for this time of the year. We were told the greens were running fast.I am looking forward to playing this course again when the spring arrives and the grass grows. Green number 16 had some winter kill but otherwise the greens weren't bad for winter play.
We had dinner at the Chesapeake Bay Grill. Very nice dinner and the waitress was excellent! Bob the Ambassador was a very nice guy as was the Pro Shop. I recommend playing it.
Nice course
My first time playing it and I had a good time. The pro shop was very friendly. If your hungry. They have a great looking restaurant.
Good course
Course was in very good shape from tees to greens. Diffenitely will play there again
Always Fun
The course is in very good shape. Friendly staff. Great place to play
Very much agree about the condescending attitude of some members. My group does like the course and the guys in the proshop are great. However, we haven't been back in some time primarily due to a weekday morning member group that acts as though the entire course belongs to them and makes others feel unwelcome on the range or practice green.
