About
Miami Springs Golf & Country Club dates back to 1925, making it one of the oldest courses in the area. The club is the original home of the Miami Open and it has hosted many notable players over the years including Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. The golf course has become a local favorite over the years, offering a round that is both challenging and affordable. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are small and subtly undulating. It's a layout that demands accuracy and careful course management will be generously rewarded. You won't find too much water on the golf course but there are some strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Miami Springs Golf & C.C. has some tricky holes but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper.

Greens heavily top dressed and LONG grass
I understand the purposes and appreciate the improvement to the turf in the last two areas
This was not a good value. People need to put the ball in a hole, not hit a raised disk. Fix it with a $2 pool flotation noodle
With so many repairs, green fee and turf descriptions should be given. Broward county does not have these silly lids on the hole

Warn customers of maintenance
I understand courses will have greens sanded and tee boxes under repair as a routine part of business but for you to not have that posted for people to know before booking is BS. Bad job by the course and by GolfNow for not posting a warning. What a waste of money.

Waste of time and money Not real Golf.
Ive been playing this couse for over 40 years. Its a great test of golf, long, few hazards. But now, since the covid 19 restrictions,
They have installed a white barrier in the cup that extends about an inch above the putting surface. So you will have NO idea if you would have made the putt or not. Crazy all other courses i have played, have a device in cup, attached to s rod with a hook, thus after ball gets in the hole, you lift up on hook, and ball pops out onto putting service. Wonderful. Another course had a 2 inch piece of pvc pipe that allowed the ball to enter hole, but not go to bottom. Making it easier to remove ball from cup.
NO wonder when I drive by, I hardly see anyone playing, parking lot empty. Sad that the manager is not doing anything to fix this, and get more $$$ and play out of the course
. Oh well, I will never play this course until they fix the hole problem also, no discount for walking grand palms and others offer discount if ya walk at this rate, they will be bankrupt soon. No worth $60 to play pretend goony golf.

First time
The older man at the front desk wasn’t helpful at all. He completely brushed me off., he was all about his TV show. I forgot to say, the course was closed so the tee time I made was for nothing.

Live next door and rarely play
I live about 100 yards from the second tee and rarely play here. They do not have a walking fee..which is absurd. Its an old course which has greens and tees near each other...but you pay the same walk or ride..palmetto has a walking fee as does the Biltmore.

Poor virus remedies
Painted tees, very difficult to spot. You’re putting to a tin plate that sticks out of the hole. Takes away from the game. The course conditions have deteriorated, overpriced as well .

Not up to Par
We were excited to get back on the course after being 'starved' for yet another round of golf, and was disappointed in the condition of the course. It appears that there is a fungus of some sort that's overtaken parts of the fairways, and around the greens. In addition, they removed tee markers and are using spray painted marks on the ground making it difficult to spot your tee. Lastly, it would be great if they would use either the easy-lift which is attached to the flag- pole, or even cut-pieces of 'noodle' in the hole making it lower than the white 'hole-cover', which is raised an inch or so, above the hole. It takes away the true feel of putting, and might even alter ones true score. Just saying! Let's get back to the good condition of 'Springs' that we are accustomed to.

Good length.
The course requires a solid drive and good long irons to score well. I used every club in the bag and enjoyed bombing the bell around the open fairways.
Greens are on the slow side and very grainy. The is more weed then grass but it was not about g. The slow greens and weeds on the course are the only keeping this course from five stars.

Poor conditions
I would’ve figured this course be in great confusion considering it’s been closed for almost two months! It was all torn up, the tee boxes were awful! Leave we’re all over the place and not on top of the greens had NO flag! Which is ridiculous because every other course had flags on their greens! I was extremely disappointed!

The course was in top shape and not many people out there so it was a quick round. Really enjoyed it. Will definitely go back.

Overpriced
Not really worth what they charge. You can play Shula’s for $20 less

Solid Course, No Frills, Great Value
My wife and I played yesterday and the day before. Yes, it’s long even from the Senior and Ladies tees, but the ball rolled a long way on the fairways. It may have the broadest fairways we’ve ever played—72 holes between us without losing a ball. Greens, fairways and bunkers are in good condition, and the rough isn’t particularly punitive. Other than a stream that crosses a few fairways, there’s no water. Icing on the cake: we played in well under 3.5 hours both days.
As for the reviews that complain about teeing areas, this is winter and you’re playing 18 for around $50. Not once did we have a problem finding a level place to tee the ball and take a good stance.
