About
Miami Springs Golf & Country Club dates back to 1925, making it one of the oldest courses in the area. The club is the original home of the Miami Open and it has hosted many notable players over the years including Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. The golf course has become a local favorite over the years, offering a round that is both challenging and affordable. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are small and subtly undulating. It's a layout that demands accuracy and careful course management will be generously rewarded. You won't find too much water on the golf course but there are some strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Miami Springs Golf & C.C. has some tricky holes but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper.

Solid Course, No Frills, Great Value
My wife and I played yesterday and the day before. Yes, it’s long even from the Senior and Ladies tees, but the ball rolled a long way on the fairways. It may have the broadest fairways we’ve ever played—72 holes between us without losing a ball. Greens, fairways and bunkers are in good condition, and the rough isn’t particularly punitive. Other than a stream that crosses a few fairways, there’s no water. Icing on the cake: we played in well under 3.5 hours both days.
As for the reviews that complain about teeing areas, this is winter and you’re playing 18 for around $50. Not once did we have a problem finding a level place to tee the ball and take a good stance.

Greens are excellent condition and design
Wonderful experience on an old fashion golf course with great green complexes that everyone should play when they visit Miami.

Disappointed
With a 4.1 star review and glowing online description, I expected a much more attractive course, but this one appears to be "going to seed"... with many dying or dead shrubs, trees, and flowers. About the only exception to this is the area around the 10th tee marker... very pretty!
As for the "playable areas"... the fairways were a bit rough in many areas, but the greens and bunkers were in good shape. There were a lot of grounds workers in evidence throughout the course so maybe they're making an effort to spruce up the place!

Convenient and quick
Good value for a quick round. Don’t expect anything spectacular. Conditions are good. Forgiving layout.

Tough course especially the greens. Some holes are too long even from the senior tees. Lots of dog legs so you must position your tee shots or your next shot will be blocked. You should bounce your ball onto the greens otherwise you’ll run off the back. Greens have a lot of slope so putting speed is needed otherwise you will easily 3 putt.

Perfect greens
I was absolutely amazed at how nice the greens are, they roll perfect, the fairways were just par, the tee boxes were terrible! I am a 7 handicap and this is a true review. Id prefer perfect greens over nice tee boxes or fairways any day of the week! Course layout is kind of boring, but once again, once you hit that green, all the other issues with the course seem to dissapear! ..... i had a 6 am tee time which was the first tee time, yet i had 3’groups in front of me. Didnt
Enjoy that! Would i play again! ABSOLUTELY BECAUSE OF HOW GREAT THE GREENS WERE. Would i be a member or play it regularly, absolutely NOT! Price was fine considering prices of courses in the miami area!
