Forest Oaks Golf Club in Lake Worth is a public course that is still one of south Florida's best-kept secrets despite having good conditions and affordable rates. The golf course offers an enjoyable round that is challenging but playable. Opened in the 1970s, it has a classic layout that showcases what Florida golf courses are known for. It is a tight layout that requires a fair amount of accuracy but beginners won't feel too out of their league. The layout offers an excellent transition from an executive course. It measures less than 6,000 yards, offering a quick and enjoyable round for more advanced players. Forest Oaks G.C. offers the quality and conditions of a country club course but the friendly and casual atmosphere of a public facility.

Nice little course for the price. Not long but you have to be in play. Some short par 5s, but 5 is a good score. Greens in very good condition and fairways were OK two weeks after major hurricane.
Will play again cuz it requires concentration on each shot.

Decent Course
Found this course via GolfNow and tried it. Greens were aerated, so did not try to putt much, but will be great to come back and try to put those slopes.
It's a great course a little tight but it a great course layout!
I've played this course for years & I keep coming back to play! We play it several times a month!

Friendly & professional staff, notice a lot of improvement on the golf course. Always challenging and fun to play . Best of all the lowest price in Palm Beach . Recommend it to all my friends.

Once a great course, not so now.
Owners have not provided good management, good maintenance of course and club facilities for several years. Needs sufficient and knowledgeable staff and more equipment to get the course and grounds into the condition that members and the Forest Oaks Community will be pleased to use.
Great course !
I would give all 5 stars on the course and the club house employees but the bar /restraunt is not that great of service.
We went in to eat and drink siat at the bar but no one is around to serve us. Had to poke in the kitchen to find someone. Then she stayed in the kitchen the whole time we were there . Never was the bar attended . They were out of a lot of things also.

I like the course and staff, my problem is their Website. If you try to book a round you can not see any prices before you hit confirm. This is only golf course Website that does this. No one wants to commit to anything without knowing the cost. If they would fix this I think it would complete the package.
Not the First Time!!!
Course is fun to play. Not first time playing course. Never had bad experience. Easy to get to !!! Will definitely go back.

Great price friendly and professional staff. Very challenging golf course for the low & high handicapper.
On Vacation
I used Golf Now to book a tee time at 9:30 the previous evening. They had me set up with a course (Forest Oaks) only 20 minutes from wher I was staying. It was a great course if you are able to keep the ball straight. Greens are very challenging and well maintained. I will definitely return next year.
great greens
Always a fun track to play when I'm in Florida. The course winds through a few housing developments and is very narrow, especially on the front 9. This is offset by the relative shortness of the course. It is evident that the current owners are putting some money into the course and they have focused on the greens to begin with. The greens were the highlight of each hole they were firm and FAST the day I played. The tee boxes have been overseeded but are not where they need to be yet. The fairways are baked out , I don't think they have irrigaiton on the fairways. The course demands accuracy over length.

Totally enjoyed my round. Have to hit it straight, a little narrow, but that always makes me play better. Greens in really nice shape. Ended my day with a rare eagle on the 18th!!
