Los Verdes Golf Course

Fairways are in horrible condition. Lots of bare spots and covered in spider grass. This used to be a great course to play. I will now look elsewhere.

We had an early tee time (6:00) so it was cold and a little windy. This course is very slopy and the greens were very fast on the front but slower on the back. Everything was in good condition with the exception of a handful of fairways which were bare.

Overall, a great experience on a course I remember to be quite challenging. Can't wait to play again.

This is a great challenging course. Play the hills, and you’ll be fine.

Considering it’s a public course, it’s hard to really complain about much. But if I were to provide constructive feedback, I would say the following. More weeds than grass on the fairways. There’s always something w the greens. Either they are not cut or they are unevenly cut. Need to be ok with moving the balls out of weeds, tree roots, rocks, etc. Great views, but after awhile, you will be more focused on why there is very little real grass on the course. Fun and challenging course.

Pace of play wasn’t monitored at all - We teed off at 2:45 and weren’t able to finish by 8 PM. Groups of four were sent out every 5 minutes opposed to 8-10 minutes. Very disappointed we weren’t able to finish, especially since it wasn’t a twilight rate.

I love Los verdes, one of the best public courses around. However, this round was awful. Pace of play is unacceptable. The course conditions were substandard. Staff did not do a good job maintaining conditions or pace. Hope it is better the next time i return

I played this course for the first time and found it to be gorgeous! The views were spectacular, the fairways were well maintained, and the staff was most friendly and helpful. In spite of using a golf cart, due to the terrain, there is a good amount of walking. My overall experience was most positive and I would gladly play here again.

Fog was from the ocean but fortunately we could see the ball in the air

The course is way better than I remember after not playing it for 8 years. However, the problem is that there are too many newbies at the course who top the ball more often than not and/or plain out hit bad. It’s not the course’s fault as we all pay to play but it’s the only bad part. However, It was a Saturday. Tee time was as 2 pm but started at 2:15. Pop-3 hour front, and 2:15 back due to people leaving towards the dark last holes, otherwise, it would have been a 6 hour round. Annoying and hard to play but finished so worth it. Overall, glad we were the last group to finish in the dark.
