Sarasota National Golf Club

This is a wonderful course in all respects except for pace of play. If you start any time after 1pm you may not finish. It would be great if a ranger moved people along.

I am new to area and this course was recommended by many so I tried it out. Good price and enjoyed the course and its layout.

Staff was inattentive and non communicative. No golf carts were available upon arriving and no explanation of the issue. Starter had to be tracked down to confirm tee time and location of first tee. He did not tell twosome I was to play with that I was to join them.

Place could be more user friendly.

I would play this course again and as much as possible. Always challenging just fun to play if your an avid golfer. Greens are in great shape, they roll true and moderately fast. Fairways are wide giving you plenty of opportunities.

Pace of play may be a little slow but not a major issue.

Greens rolled nice but could have been a little faster. Still very enjoyable!!

Even with all the construction going on the course was in great shape. Several tee boxes makes it playable for most any handicap. Hope to play it again soon.

Sarasota National is always in very good condition, fairways through greens. Greens are fast and run true. A little more expensive but you get what you pay for. Good layout, well kept, cart and practice area (range, bunker, putting).

The pace was a little slow, but that is unusual for this course.

If you can't predict the weather, be careful with Golf Now and this course in particular. I got the feeling these guys do not like Golf Now golfers

Sarasota national closed due to rain that ended before my tee time and they closed for the day. No other courses I searched for on golf now closed. If Sarasota national doesn’t care for my business, this is the second time they closed on a day I was playing,, then they will not get it, and I will make it a point to tell others not to play there

Very nice course. Fast undulating greens, so don't be above the hole. Nice lay out, lots of sand traps but easy to play out of. Great practice facilities. Reasonable price through golfnow. Will definitely play again.

Rather boring course. Greens are excellent/fast. Fairways not very good. Bunkers poor.

Peripheral areas untidy/ignored.

Course plays OK but very little variety. Feels like you're playing a repeat of 3 or 4 holes.

Couldn't generate any excitement. Course is good but I think its name gets it more notoriety than it deserves. There are better courses in the area at similar or better cost.

Played the course with my son while on vacation. We both enjoyed very much. Layout was really nice and the conditions were excellent. I would definitely play again.

For late December. the course was much busier than I thought it would be for an early afternoon tee time. My son and I got paired with members, which was great since they were able to give pointers on how to play the hole. The couse was in excellent condition and the greens were fast and challenging. I played 5 rounds with my son (from up north) over the last week and this course was his favorite.
