The course lay is good test of golf ,greens a bit bumpy .

Only one down side the group I was playing were informed at the 10 hole by the course marshal we had dropped behind and that it took us 2 .20 to get to the 10tee.

We stopped at the half way house for refreshments for 15mins waved the 2 ball throw.

We could not see the course marshal when we reached the 18 hole 1 group on the green 1 group on the fairway and 2 groups on the 18 tee

Course is a good test, practice facility is good for a solid warm up. The greens are still recording from being punched, but still good condition.

My wife and I played this course at the end of our vacation. the staff at the pro shop were very friendly and all the marshals also. We played with two other gentlemen who fitted right in with us. The course itself was very long but very well kept. The greens were in perfect condition as were the tee boxes. It was a very pleasant course to play on even with the development of housing going on around it. Would recommend this course.

This course is always in top notch condition. Undulating greens that are fast, about 11.5 when I played. You can score if you just keep it in play with wide fairways, and not a lot of trouble, except for the major wayward shots. The course continues to get better each year. WCI owns this course, so there's plenty of money to keep it in superb shape. If you're even close to the area, play this course, you'll leave with a smile, no matter what your score is!

Sarasota National was in excellent shape. For Florida golf generous landing areas. Greens excellent shape. Green and fast!! Went to play alone and have played with friendly players. When in the Venice area play is a must.

SN is very consistent..Excellent greens, and fairways. Don't get above the pin, or a 3 putt is very likely. No complaints whatsoever. I'd play there every day if I lived in the area. Worth the drive. EXCELLENT TRACK

The golf course is in great condition fairways are plush , greens are fast . Pace of play was slow , didn't see a ranger.

Last 3 holes I had a woman digging a new hole to reposition the pins on the greens. There was a guy rolling the greens as well on those holes. Are you kidding me? I paid a premium to play early as the first one out and then this. My momentum was completely thrown off ruining my play as people were scattered on these holes. I had to wait a lot on these holes. I picked up the ball and left since I was totally frustrated.

Great condition, course in excellent shape . Pace of play a little slow but other than that had a great round.

This course has always been in great shape for play. Greens putt true. Wind comes into play on some of the holes which makes it somewhat harder to get on the Par 4's in 2 shots. So nice to see that there is a resurgence in home building at the club as just a few years back it looked like a ghost-town.Staff in clubhouse and on the course was superior.

Great staff. Driving range included with unlimited balls. Grass tee box at the range. Course laid out nice with large gaps between tee boxes.

I have been waiting to play this course however because I am not willing to pay 100.00 in season I waited and played in the off season. It was worth the wait.

Staff was great. Very welcoming.

Loved the course. Nice layout, and reasonable amount of difficulty for the average golfer. Very scenic. New construction ruins the course looks a little, but was not a big concern. Traversing from hole to hole can be challenging, best if you play with someone who played the course before.

Course was in great shape and has a great layout. Only downfall was pace of play.

Great course. Putting on these greens is a humbling experience. Definitely a must play when you are in the area.
