Played as foursome and the pace was very good (4h 15m) – as there is a lot of time spent on the long distances between some holes…

The course is mostly wide open with plenty of fairway. There is a lot of water but mostly not in play. Tee boxes, fairways and bunkers in good condition, greens rather fast. It is a nice track for an easy round, but don’t expect any big challenges. It is well playable and can be enjoyed.

Forgive but Challenging and in GREAT condition. Staff affable and helpful. Mush play for the price.

Course was in excellent condition with workers making sure that today’s round will be better than yesterday’s round. Always enjoyable to test my skills (or lack of) from the many different offerings of tee boxes. Fairways smooth and clean and the greens moderately fast and testy. Wind is always a factor, and always add an extra club length when judging your approach shot. Better to be on and long instead of short and grinding. Would I play there tomorrow, YES, YES, YES-

Course in great shape. Cart path on 5 holes due to all the rain. Fairways in great shape, greens running fast. Differently one of the better courses I played this year.

It is not peaceful at all ! Plus ....

Charged an extra 20$ when your wife come with you ! First time in my life ! Argument from the golf, you need an extra cart. but when you play alone or at 3 like i ve played, you need a cart anyway. It is just to make bad money. Not commercial. They prefer to make big money than getting customers satisfaction. Shame. My last time here.

Played this course for the first time this week. Very nice layout, lots of interesting shapes to holes. Course in great condition and greens in great shape.

This is a good challenge for all levels of golfers. Plays fair from the back tees and brings bunkers and water into play.

Will be a return visit to this course!!!!

Nice course, friendly staff, good pace of play. Tough enough with some forgiveness.

Played there many times. Played on a Sunday. Wish they had actual food that you can order in morning. Not much selection. Next time we eat prior to going. The course is great, staff is great, well maintained. Highly recommend.

Lots of great views and lots of shot options. Challenging yet user friendly.

If you are not a local and looking for a great course, this is definitely a place you don’t want to miss. Wide open layout with many holes allowing you to take chances. Must play!

This is likely the BEST condition course in SW Florida! The fairways were immaculate. We had rain lately so they were looking very nice. I did get into two sand traps today and they were still wet from rain and packed. Such a beautiful course - great practice facility and very nice grill area for sandwich at the turn or after the round.

Always enjoy this venue. Great staff, great course, well maintained and a good challenge. Never miss playing when I’m in Venice.

Overall, the staff friendliness (except in the 19th hole) was excellent. Great start to the round! But the pace of play was slow... 2 1/2 hours for front nine, and it backed up again on the back nine...and the course was pretty empty! We were told it was wide open in front and behind us, but someone jumped in front, and it went down hill from there. The course was in good shape, and somewhat challenging, but not very scenic or creative. I definitely prefer a course with more character, more wild life, and more trees to make it more scenic. But for the price? Hey, it was a nice afternoon of golf. But it got so slow, we only finished 14 holes...very much unlike me!

Course is in great shape with very very good greens. Great value for this time of year.

Course layout is good. Friendly layout especially for high handicappers. Pace of play is a bit slow for an off season visit with very few players on property (4hrs 30min). Being a former superintendent, i'd say maintenance staff was the biggest disappointment during my visit. Course conditions were typical especially for June, but the maintenance staff are not trained well. Almost every hole they continued to operate right through our play. Several times staff would fly by on maintenance equipment and carts while we tried to hit shots, and in close proximity to us. A little etiquette training goes a long way......
