Tee boxes great, fairways great, although the course appears as though it has just been built (as to old growth vegetation). Greens are excellent & challenging. Loved this course. Booked another tee time for the following week! clubhouse still being constructed.

The course was in excellent condition. We come and play every year in July and it is always in great shape. The only knock is that there wasn't a grill at the clubhouse so we couldn't get a hot dog or sandwich. He did say to hope to have that built by November so we will see next summer when we come back.

This course is player friendly for an average golfer. The fairways are wide and the water hazards are few.If you stay away from the bunkers near the greens you can score pretty low. We played from the senior tees and had a great time.perfect setting

Nice layout with plenty of room off the tee so bring your $50 golf balls. The greens had been aerated but that was noted on Golf Now when I made the tee time. Fun challenging course without the bogus design features that make golf so frustrating like fairway bunkers with big fronts requiring layup sand wedges and water on both sides of a fairway.. Highly recommended.

Usually play in Nov/Dec. as I'm a snowbird. Prices rise in Jan. makes it difficult to afford. Came back to Florida this June for a few weeks. Played Sarasota National again. Forgot how much I love this course.
Wide open fairways-great greens, super fairways/rough to hit 2nd ball from. This is it-best course around.

Although not picturesque the course shows signs of continuous improvement. Whilst there is plenty of water on the course the fairways are very generous and hazards should be avoidable. Staff are friendly. The course looks excellently maintained and over time I am sure will become more pleasing to the eye. Greens are very quick and undulating. Found history of 15 historic pin positions within a 10 yard diameter which shows green keeper has difficulty finding a flat space to put the pin. Overall, an enjoyable experience

This course has very wide fairway but, you may feel some difficult to read the break on the putting surface. it' a little bit tough to land on the green softly because the green's so hard. Anyway It's really nice course overall.

Played as a two ball at 1.30. Toss up between here and Venetian. Chose here because of better reviews.
Bag drop staff, pro shop staff all very pleasant and helpful. Had a few range balls and putts then started on the 10 th. This is a very generous course off the tee with some huge open fairways. Tee and fairway condition was good although some creeping tough grasses starting to invade some fairways . It gets tougher towards the greens with stiff bunkering on some holes and massive greens with plenty of undulation. Favorite hole is par 5 7th a good dogleg par five around water with cross fairway bunkering.
Played in under 3 and a half hours and just beat a thunderstorm in.
At $35 and given the layout and condition would definitely go back. Some house building has started but still p!eanty of open space. Great wildlife and plenty of gators on show. No clubhouse as yet but its being built. Once all the house are in this will!be a very popular course.

My first outing in S.Fla this year. Great course to challenge me as an intermediate golfer. Arrived late and was able to get out. Management was very courteous . Very enjoyable course.

I have played here numerous times before WCI took it over and always enjoyed the layout but now the course conditions are top notch as well. Greens were smooth and fast, tee areas and fairways were immaculate. All around just an incredible place to play at such a reasonable price!

The greens at Sarasota are extremely quick with significant undulations. The course is a links style layout with difficult greens, it is enjoyable to play and provides a variety of challenges. I used most of the clubs in my bag with a number of longer irons.
The course was crowded but we played in 4 hours and did not wait on most shots.

I enjoyed playing each hole and the fact that each hole is separate from one another

Arrived late due to GPS negatives. Pro was very accomodating to get me out. Great course, great staff, will return.

I think this is a very good golf course. Course conditions are very good. Fairways are spacious but with well placed bunks. The greens are also well bunkered. They are large and undulating. They can be very challenging if you get above the hole.
The staff from the guys at the club drop to the rangers are very friendly. You feel very welcome during the entire experience.
The facilities are under construction and they could use a place to grab some food.

We enjoied the course - it is challenging and interesting. some really nice holes. fairways, bunkers and greens are in super condition. greens quite fast.

Great golf course, certainly tests your putting stroke. Love this course just to expensive Jan, Feb and March.
