Course is in wonderful condition, with lush fairways and fairly quick greens. Generous landing areas on most holes make it easy to swing "free" from the tee box.

Probably the best that any golf course architect could do with a limited budget and a really ugly piece of Florida Real Estate. Flat as a pancake, dogleg left around a man-made pond, dogleg right around a man-made pond, short carry over a man-made pond, then repeat. The fairways are so wide that you could build a Walmart on them. Very good course conditions, but otherwise very forgetable. Go there and shoot a good score in easy conditions, big deal.

Course is in great shape . Greens are fast and true. If you do not like fast greens stay away. Course was full but moved along well marshalls were very visible.

The maintenance and clean up done over the summer is very evident.

Course is very forgiving off the tree but makes up for it with approaches and greens

This course is very forgiving for off target drives. The greens are fairly large with quite a bit of slope. Hole #7 is a risk/reward par 5. It is a fun hole to play. There are long drives between tees and greens.

Nice, wide layout. Fairways and greens were in great condition. Greens were a little tricky to read.

Course was in beautiful shape, greens were lightning fast but very fair. Fairways were wide open, covered in nice thick grass (which can be in short supply around here), good sight lines. Enjoyed the round, looking forward to going back

Play this course every year in October. This year it was a big surprice to be able to actually see the lakes, and the course. Before the vegetation around the lakes was far to high, and pnly rooftops of the carts were visible. Plants, busches and trees were maintained. What a nice surprice.

Love Sarasota National, course is really coming back from a couple of a years ago. The greens are awesome, bunkers are filled with new sand, the hazards have been cleaned up. It is real great course to play. The only bummer is the pace of play. Slow this day, and the prior time I played last month.

I've seen the course at its low points and from tee to green the conditions were the best I've seen. It was the first time I've played it since they were closed for renovations. Pro told me most of the renovations were clearing out most of the brush around the course and redoing the bunkers. The funny thing is the overgrown brush did give it some character and it definitely has a different feel but still an enjoyable course from the tips. Be careful walking to the back tee on 7. There was a nice size gator ready to pounce on the backside of the tee box.

Great conditions and price. Close to my home etc.

Plush & wide fairways. Very smooth (but lightning fast) multi-level greens (often hard to 2 putt if over 20 or so from the hole). Roughs can be very rough at times, but overall a very nice course.

Great course, challenging greens, excellent condition and friendly staff. The course is "Florida flat" with forgiving fairways, but the greens are large with a lot of challenging pin positions.

The course maintenance is above average and greens rolled smoothly and very true.

Overall great experience!! Friendly people and wonderful conditions!

Course coming into its own and will benefit from development. In my top 3 in Sarasota.

course in great shape, some challenging holes with water coming into play. Rough very playable and sand traps have plenty of sand.
