Great Long Golf Course
Wide open fairways, lots of bunker defending the greens, long par-5s and par-3s from the tips. Also lots of wild life! Saw a gator that was over 10 foot long about 30 feet from the tee box on hole 3 and an osprey snatch a bluegill as a meal! Fun experience! Just very spread out course
Great Day
Considering all the rain we have had in venice the course was in wonderful shape.. The course was well manicured and the greens were rolling.Kudos to the grounds crew and the friendly golf staff
Great course
Course is in pretty good condition, and pace of play was good. I will play again.
Always a nice day at Sarasota National.
The course was as good as usual. With all the recent rains, cart path only can slow things down a bit.
Wide open fairways
Really nice to play this course with it’s very generous fairways. First class facility if a little pricey.
Just not the same
I have been playing this course since it opened. It doesn’t have the same feel with all the homes. The course feels disconnected from hole to hole. It’s in great shape and the greens are fantastic but it’s just lost the thing that made it special.
DYN-O-MITE
Truly one of the three best courses in the bi-coun5y area,. Tanks with Lakewood National and Esplanade. Great layout, wide open fairways, suited to any player level. C97rse was in magnificent condition, while others are Browning up. Beautiful landscape as well
Hidden Gem
The course was in outstanding condition. The green were smooth and true. Grass on fairways was near perfect. The rough made the course very challenging, considering that the ball would sink out of sight.. Hitting the ball from the rough was really difficult at times, and made the short shots from the bermuda rough very difficult. Sand traps were wet from all the rain and had to be played accordingly. A good time was had by all.
Awesome Course
Now this is what a 5 star course is and everyone else should learn from 5 star means perfect fairways, greens and tee boxes. Not like the other cow pastures golf course in charlotte country which should be rated as a 2 and guys rate them as 5. My only issue is dirt cart paths. Florida rain and dirt not my favorite to drive on or walk. Great course!

Greens are good fairways were really good. I will play again for for the right price.
Excellent Course
I always enjoy playing this course. Staff is friendly and they keep the course in great shape. Teed off at 8 am and played at a fast pace all day. Lunch was great as well.

Nice course, nice variety of holes, challenging par 3’s, layout will challenge you to work the ball both ways, nice club house & amenities & lunch offerings, only complaint greens bit slow,
Beautiful course
Was down on vaca from Oklahoma and this course made me feel like I was somewhere different. Beautiful course and would love to play again on another visit!
User friendly with great views
Generous fairways and large undulating greens. With very few players midday and 95’ temperatures, I played my round in about three hours. Great course to play.
Sarasota National is SPECTACULAR
The course was in the best shape I have ever seen it with magnificent fairways. The greens had been punched by I am going back next week after these rains to see the greens perfect also.
