What a swamp!!!

In years past, Lexington Oaks was one of my go to courses. Fun layout, decent shape and a good value. Lately, the course has gone downhill. The pro shop staff was not as friendly and the golf course was soaked. There were tire tracks all over the course, your ball would plug in the fairways and good luck finding it in the rough when it plugged. The only thing I would give a 2.5 star are the greens. They were okay. It looks like they are trying to add some rocks/drainage areas to the course, hopefully to help with the flooding. Not sure, but I would stay away from here until they are finished with their changes and it dries out. WHAT A SWAMP!!

Good fun

The staff were excellent other than one thing. A Sunday League went off in front of us. A group of five was allowed. Several members of that group fished every pond for balls. Wow, if they need balls that bad I've got two five gallon buckets of old ones at home. Ranger should have fixed that. Otherwise, The course was great. The greens were smooth. The Cart lady came through plenty of times. I would play this again. I just hope that even if it's members or regulars holding up play, the Ranger does a better job.

Great course when dry

Have played this course multiple times. Some holes challenging. Some fairly routine. Plays great when dry but with Florida weather in summer being what it is was soaked in many places and extremely muddy. It looks like they are trying to improve some of the worse off areas with better drainage so that should be good.
