Golf Club At South Hampton

This was a good course well maintained. Unfortunately, there were no senior tees, so we used the white tee's. This required three strokes to get to the greens (I am 78) but in spite of the challenge, it was a fun day of golf. Of Course 15 - 20 mph winds were fun, but I like to use it as an excuse. I would recommend it as a good day of golf for the price in St. Augusting.

Al in all was a great experience, pace of play was as always very slow, the 10' between groups definitely does never work here, I haven't been able to finish a round before 5 hours, always stuck behind of a couple 4 some. The greens were very bad for this course, the rest of the course was great.

It is the second time I play it and I found it very good. It has a good quality for money

The maintenance crew has been busting their butts and has South Hampton back looking great. Green’s were receptive and fast, fairways were great and tee boxes had great over-seed. Highly recommend this course.

Fairways are thin and dormant, greens are bare in some areas. Pace was good on front, but a group jumped ahead of us on the back while at the turn. The starter did nothing about it.

Back nine is challenging and fun to play. Green fees are reasonable. I’ll be back.

Huge improvement of the greens and overall layout I would recommend this to anyone amazing recovery from a couple of months ago.

Traps as always lack sand which hurts on deep bunkers

The course has an interesting layout with many of the greens guarded by sand. The greens were very short and kind of hard so were very fast. The group had difficulties making a lot of putts. Otherwise the course was in very good condition.

Better conditions overall vs last time I was here. Greens are nice except for a few spots on one or two that the pins were cut away from. Rolling true and smooth at a medium+ pace, could be quick downhill, but receptive to approach shots. Some par 3 tees a little beat up, as almost always is true anywhere.

Paid for 18 holes, I got there early not golf cats available, rude staff overbooked very unorganized 12 kids in front couldn’t finished 9 holes, when i talked to the pro shop about the situation no explanation no refund.

Called golf now no solutions suggested me to call the pro shop i did i talked to Nathan his excuse was he wasn’t there, sorry no refund.
