Golf Club At South Hampton

Our threesome had a great time playing South Hampton. I've played the course several times before, and seen it at its best, so I was a bit disappointed with the shape of the course. Regardless, the layout is so great that a few dry spots didn't deter us from having a great time.

I get it, that time of year all courses price are inflated. But the greens were not maintained. So rough and bumpy. I would have rather spent double the money at dyes valley. Not worth the $90 I spent to play at south hampton

Fairways sparse.

Layout and pace of play very good.

Had a great day for a poor playing golfer. Weather was supreme and the playin partners were great.

Like a lot of courses right now in north Florida, the course is not in very good shape. Fairways thin but greens are poor. Greens were not cut or rolled this day, due to so much healing application laid down. Hopefully will recover as they layout is nice. Range is a disaster

10-20 golf rounds in Florida between Orlando and St Augustine. I have never seen a Florida course in such bad shape. What makes it worse, 79 bucks. Greens were unplayable and fairways were not much better. Dang… I came to Florida to hit off green grass and got a big disappointment.

Course condition and pricing doesn’t match. Wait until management decide to do something.

Can’t believe the price they are charging to play this goat track. I would only play if it was less than 30$ just to get some reps in. Need to shut down for a little to save this place

Have played this course about once/year over the last four years and typically found it in great condition. Not sure what has gone wrong but the greens are now in terrible condition and the fairways are marginal - especially on the front nine. I cannot recommend this course in this condition and paying full price would add insult to injury. Hopefully they will invest some appropriate effort to bring this course back to playable condition.

The layout was for this course was OK - but the greens were in BAD shape.. Weeds were actually growing on some of the greens and we all were disappointed at the shape they were in.

Nice staff, pretty good driving range and practice area. They need to fix the greens. Cicerone GC is across the street and is is in much better shape.

good course in decent shape except the greens ... greens are struggling

The owners are redesigning the entire course next year so they have not irrigated anywhere on the course in months. At this time it is a $25 a round value.

All of the greens we had to take a 2 putt rule as they aren’t in good shape whatsoever

Course has gotten a lot better since last summer and it’s a wide course that is not punishing. Rough hides your ball well but other than that good solid course. I have now played here about 20 times
