Stoneybrook West Golf Course
About
Designed by Arthur Hills Stoneybrook West is a roaming blend of gutsy, penal holes, picturesque par threes over water, reachable par fives (527 and 522 yards from the tips, then 578 and 605), and several short, sporty par fours that cover all corners of the site. Dramatically rolling fairways salted with Hills' trademark grass-faced bunkers, subtle elevation changes and undulating greens were all artfully carved out of native orange groves, overlooking Black Lake. Water comes into play on 12 holes; you'll find all 18 are distinctly different, challenging and memorable.
For those visiting the Orlando area, particularly the Disney World complex, Stoneybrook West is just a matter of minutes up the road to the north. For those who frequent the Orlando golf circuit, Stoneybrook West is a course that must be seen to be measured against the other name courses.

Stoneybrook Life
SB has everything you need:
Great course layout
Great driving range
Great food
But best of all - The Brian Davis Academy!
GREAT VALUE !
Nicely kept Course, has many challenges
I would consider a membership if it was available at a reasonable price ! ⛳️
Almost all the way back.
Played SBWest for the first time since it reopened last year. I thought the prices were set way to high for being a course out of commission so long. I could also see from the roadway it was still not up to top shape yet on fairways and tee boxes. But found a good deal and son and I tried it out finally. Glad to say the course is in much better condition than I expected and definitely has had some much needed TLC. Greens are in fabulous shape and most fairways are back to previous standard.
Stoneybrook West
Noted improvement to greens. Fairways, tees, bunkers and collars around greens need work. Despite recent rains course was dry and ground hard. Love the layout and that is the recent I play it. Do not expect Augusta conditions. Recent drought impacted course.
Stoneybrooke West
Had a tee time at 2pm and showed up to the course at 1 to warm up. Was not given a golf cart, as they stated would recieve one close to my tee time. Had to carry my bag to the putting green, driving range and chipping area that are not next to each other. People with tee times after ours recieved their cards as I belive they forgot. We got our cart 2 mins AFTER we were suppose to tee off. Tee times booked on top of each other so was waiting for the majority of the time, as is normal for most places on a Sunday.
Great bones, course conditions need help
I played this course as a kid growing up. It’s got some really interesting holes, but I just have to say that the majority of this course is weeds. Particularly around the greens. I hope they can continue to improve as I know it was shut down for years but it’s just not going to get my money right now. Good value for the money, but just not my money.
Welcome back
Played this course 40 - 50 times back in the 2006-2009 time period and always enjoyed it. Was happy to see it reopen. Not quite as good conditioning as I remember but still the same interesting track. We thoroughly enjoyed our round and would do it again.
very well laid out course.
I really appreciate the course a lot. I think it’s well maintained. Greens are just a little slow but then again that probably depends on the time of year too. Overall it is a great course to play at any skill level. My golf game just is a little below average haha.
Don’t waste your money
Round took 5hrs. Saw the cart girl on hole 4 and never again. $80 for a round of golf should come with a certain level of expectations. Conditions, pace, amenities, etc. all terrible. Greens were horribly slow. Fairway and tee boxes in very rough shape. Bunkers were concrete. I wouldn’t play here again for free
Needs help
The fairways and greens were in very decent shape. Out side of that its a goat pasture. If you don’t mind rolling the ball over then you can have a good experience. I would put this course at 35$ to 40$ for a more reasonable price. I’m a 10 handicapper play golf once or twice a week.
Have not played Stoneybrook West for 15 years.
The course condition (fairways, greens, tee boxes) were not acceptable. It was like playing on the bare desert or another planet. No grass, scrub weeds, ant hills, gopher holes, and bugs swarming. I will not be back at this course again. I request my money be refunded.
Stoneybrook West
This course is too expensive for what they offer. The greens are new and they are the only thing that saves the round. Fairways are too raw, bunkers are dirt. Any good shot is punished by the poor conditions of the golf course. The starter was very unfriendly and looked miserable doing his job. Not going back.
