Stoneybrook West Golf Course

Course under renovation. Staff doing outstanding job bringing course back. Some of the challenge has been reduced due to the removal and redesign of bunkers. Worth playing.

Arriving I was optimistic. But upon check in things weren’t good. Staff wasn’t super friendly, cart girl decided she wasn’t going to go out. We saw her on the first hole and that was it. Came in at the 9 and was excited for a hotdog, or something at the turn. Restaurant was closed for an event, and no food in the pro shop. As far as the course, the fairways were not great, definitely a lot of dry patches and they were not that much different from the rough. I guess for $48 it’s not bad but expected a little more at a neighborhood golf course.

Good value for the price I paid Greens are in good shape expect for a few Fairways are thin with some weeds Unfortunately nobody but me repairs ball marks on the greens so they are full of un repaired ball marks Booking a tee time for the course is the way to go. Played during the week so pace of play was great as nobody was in front of my group

A great time was had. Staff were friendly. Chipping, putting and driving range facilities were great. The greens roll lovely and are quick and challenging but they do seem to have had some fungal issues so many of the holes have some scarring from that. But it’s often localised and the ball rolls pure.

Fun and challenging layout. Very enjoyable round and for an amazingly price considering the quality and the facilities available.

I chose the course based on proximity and price and let’s just say you get what you pay for.

Course is going downhill fast ! 2–3 months ago. It was in excellent condition now the greens are in very poor condition.!! Fairways poor !! What is going on with this Course !!!?

If you enjoy 6 hour rounds, play this course. Absolutely horrible pace of play. No ranger on the course to move people along. Got to 14 with 4 groups of 4 waiting to tee off. People in the fairway taking 6-7 practice swings to chunk it 20 yards and then do it all over again. Drunks on the course zig zagging down the fairway because that can't see, let alone hit anything straight. Worst course I played all year in Orlando. I wouldn't play here again even if they comp'd be a free round.

Lost more than half a dozen balls to extra long rough, just off the fairways. I would see where the ball went when I got to the area it would take too long to find people behind me! With that said, I do like Stoney very much so next time I will bring my not so great golf balls.

Considering this course was closed for a long time, it has come a long way. There was constant maintenance personnel working which is a good sign. Due to all the rain, the course is really wet, which makes it cart path only. That makes for a long round, but not the courses fault. Worth the money to play.

Restaurant can use a new upgrade , the food was terrible , chicken tenders and fries was like 18 bucks and it was freezer chicken and fries. Course okay but it could be about better.

Course was very wet. Maintenance team was very busy and continued to get in the way. Starter wasn’t that friendly.

Great course. Still need some work but improving everyday.

Greens and tee box 110% better everyday.
