About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Great value
Second time playing in a couple years. Definitely matured. Fairways were in very good condition. Greens were good too. Very true. A few pitch marks on greens otherwise I would give 5 stars. A little out of the way but worth the drive.

Great golf was had here.
Great course! Layout is wide open but made challenging with location of sand and water. A little worn in some areas but easily overcome. Pins were well placed and protected adding more challenges. Very accommodating staff too. Enjoyed our round tremendously.

Course was very full, but we managed to finish the round in 3:50. Course was in good shape. Fairways and tees were green and healthy. Greens in great shape and ran on. slower side (some were even longer/slower).

Slow pace with many high handicappers. Course is wide open. A young course that will get better with age. The greens are hard but hold fairly well. Sand traps need a lot of work.

Nice course.
Generous fairways. Should typically play in 4 hours or less. Fairways look poor in some places to the eye. But ball always seems to have a clean and fair lie.

Just an FYI: my cart lacked ice in cooler and no sand/seed for divot fill when I started. There's ample construction noise and distraction. And some grounds crew weren't very conscienctious; one on a work cart spraying something was moving slowly in fairway less than twenty yards directly behind a player hitting approach shot. But the Bev cart gal was super service oriented! Just some food for thought.
