Terrible conditions
Maybe the worst conditions around the green I’ve ever played. The layout is ok, if it was in good condition could be a great place to play around Miami where there are not to many choices
Course being neglected
Seems like they’ve given up on maintaining the course, which is odd considering all the building renovations that seem to be underway. Place was a mess compared to just 6 months ago
Cheap
This course could be one of the best in Dade. No money is put into course maintenance or staff. You would think a course owned by a reservation would be top notice. Beverage cart didn’t even get out until 2pm. Again, any other loss of revenue that could help better the course. Greens are decent. Approach to greens are terrible. Some tee boxes were terrible. Standing water in traps. It’s a municipal course at best.
You get what you pay for….0.5/5 ⭐️
I’ve been playing at this course for many years, and it’s always been in ok condition. However, this was an all time low for course conditions as well as the course allowing a 20-some all start together on the same hole instead of shotgun start. Thankfully, I only paid $33 bc of a Hot Deal. This will be the last time I play this course, at least until the conditions improve. 0.5/5 stars.
Difficult course with lots of water
I've been playing this course for years. Difficult with lots of water and deceiving holes. But overall not a bad place to play.
The facilities are in bad shape, although they are remodeling...it's been going on for a while and does not look like it's progressing much.
Overall I would rather play else where, but they are close to my home.
Great Layout Poor Greens
pros: very nice course design. water everywhere. good fairways. consistent rough. great 19th hole. great staff interactions.
neutral: small greens, as many older courses have.
cons: very poorly maintained greens, bordering on unacceptably bad, like putting in quicksand. the greens aren’t cut or rolled properly, and are a real letdown. the greens are HORRIBLE.
many sandtraps don’t have rakes, so players don’t rake traps, which leads to the traps being poor as well, and that’s without blaming the course for how bad the traps are due to the miami weather, as in, lots of short rain storms.
unacceptable putting green. literally the only putting green I’ve ever seen worse was at a driving range some guy ran out of the yard of his trailer home in west virginia, which was astroturf on concrete.
the putting green really makes you question your decision to golf here, and shows that management takes no pride in the facilities.
range balls are also horrible, and some of the worst quality i’ve run into since the trailer home driving range i mentioned earlier which had less duds per bucket than Miccosukee.
Lastly, the carts are given out totally soaked down and wet, so get ready for swamp butt from the get go.
I understand that clean carts are important, but giving the carts out soaking wet is ridiculous, and is a really crappy way to start a round.
The main problem with this course is that they know they have a captive audience. it’s one of the only courses around so they are guaranteed players regardless of how poor the greens and facilities are, and they take advantage.
But, at least for miami, the pricing isn’t ridiculous, the course design and water hazards are really good, and the staff treats everyone well, so three stars, which is the best i can possibly give a course with the greens as poor as they are.

Fun Course with Below Average Greens
Love the layout. Greens were long with some fertilizer and dry patches. Could be a gem with better greens. Good value for price. Definitely would play again, even in the shape it’s in.
Weeds Central
Play this course this past weekend and it is in terrible condition their fairways and rough are full of weeds and the greens are even worse conditions either being sand or crabgrass in almost all of them. The course also has terrible drainage I would advise find another course. For the price their charging is absurd they need to close this course down for 4 months and fix the weeds issues
Terrible course conditions
The course is in terrible shape and the greens are basically unplayable. Even the tee boxes are bad.
the booking from golfnow was not succeed with the course, required book on site again
Hidden gem of the Miami area
We’re not from the area and came down for a week of golf. We played a bunch of the courses in the area in all price ranges. This course is a really great value. The course has a beautiful layout with many scenic views. The course is challenging but not crazy. Good for the non-single digit handicappers. Course is overall pretty well maintained - not perfect but solid. Would strongly recommend this course.
Miccosukee
Course was in good shape. Greens were real nice and pace of play was great.
