Briar Bay Golf Course

About
Briar Bay Golf Course, opened in 1975, is an affordably priced executive course that stretches out over 30 acres. The course presents challenges for all players, beginning to advanced. The layout features elevated greens that are small and fast, narrow fairways that are protected with bunkers. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Although it is located near a residential area the course promises an interesting layout that goes in every direction. Briar Bay Golf Course facility lacks some of the amenities of a private club, but they do boast a practice green and a clubhouse.

Not bad
For the price I guess it's OK. Small 9 hole course, mainly par 3.
Bathrooms dirty.
Had to walk through a dark closed restaurant to get to the bathroom. Then, no soap, no paper towels and also dirty. Golf cart trail had area with big bumps and holes.
Not bad for the price. You what you paid.
Greens weren't perfect but playable. Fence and street all around but nice neighborhood.
The most honest staff you’ll meet in Miami.
I went by myself to play on a Wednesday, the weather was perfect and I showed up half an hour early. The starter told me I could go ahead if I wanted to and apologize for the two young kids that were in front of me. After the first hole, I never saw the two kids again and had nobody behind me. I finished the course in about an hour and 10 minutes and it cost me the same amount of money that it would to get a bucket of balls at the driving range that I usually go to. I left my rangefinder in the cart and got a call back within five minutes of leaving from Fernando to tell me that I did and when I would be back to pick it Up. I went back right away and it was in the clubhouse waiting for me with my name on it. I have lost three rangefinders in the past and never had this happen to me, on the contrary, other golf courses would tell me to check my bag again. Honesty goes a long way.
Course conditions
There was progress on green conditions they had been awful for awhile glad to have seen an improvement.
