About
Just a short distance southwest of the Miami International Airport, the golf course at Costa dels Sol Golf Club is a challenging public course that also boasts scenic views. Although the terrain is mostly flat, this course's difficult comes from the narrow fairways that are lined with trees. The greens are medium sized with some being slightly elevated. Water hazards come into play on the majority of the holes and there are also some sand bunkers as well. The signature hole of the course is the par 3 14th hole, which requires a tee shot past water. Costa del Sol Golf Club also has five long, narrow par 5s as well as some scenic par 3s.

What you’d expect.
It was a pretty cheap 18 holes. Unfortunately we only got through 9 due to rain and darkness, but the 9 we did play were challenging and fun. Water hazard on nearly every hole. Unfortunately the greens were in really rough condition. A few holes I may have been better off chipping off the green because it was so bumpy and rough anywhere near the edges of the green.
Not worth
We spent more than 5 hours. A lot of of green were overseed . Not to mention how bas were the tee box. Staff was very friendly but I would not recommend this xourse
A little warmer please
So i arrived early hoping to get out early. No go - totally booked so I'm told. I booked as a single and asked to be paired up with someone. "We dont do that here". Never heard of that but what i was told. Finally i'm told i'm paired with others. I asked where they are - "dont know" is what i get. Finally my tee time arrives - nothing. I go to the 1st tee and wait 10 minutes until i pair up with a couple that had a tee time 2 groups after me. Later on in the round i see same people who went out when i first arrived playing as 2 somes & 3 somes- so much for totally booked. All i'm saying is they could have been a little more helpful. Everything i asked appeared to be an inconvenience. Just wanted to play a round of golf. Attitude need not be a part of my round.
East to hit into streets
Nearow but fair, too many streets close, easy to hit into streets, greens sloppy and fast

Course shoehorned in downtown Doral with lots of traffic noise and condos too close with shoddy tee boxes, below average greens and scruffy fairways
i am not fond of this course
it is very convenient for me as it is close to my home. But i dislike the course. it is poorly maintained., and marked. it is also difficult win lots of water. The last time i played there, i lost a dozen balls. Most of them right on the fairway!
OK Course -- Convenient Location
So-so course in the heart of Doral so lots of traffic surrounding the edges of the course. Greens were so-so as were the fairways and tee boxes but for the price in season, was okay.
Great course, BUT….
Layout is challenging, definitely a shot makers course, no automatic driver off the tee. 4 holes run along the roads that are not shielded from errant tee shots. Very dangerous! Course holds water, so lots of soggy fairways. Greens are small and challenging, but some barely had grass, almost packed dirt. I like the course, but could do with some heavy investment. Fairways are narrow, water hazards everywhere, bunkers are terrible.
Good Value - Nice Place
It is very difficult to get to the clubhouse. This course is inside a gated (like a prison) community. Note that you must ignore Google maps directions.
In order to join the inmates, you MUST enter via the entrance at NW 41st St. & NW 102nd Ave.
Once inside, you will find a well maintained course, a nice layout and friendly people.
