Golfing
The golf course over the years has definitely improved dramatically. Stephanie the Golf Pro has given me lessons which have been extremely helpful. She is a dedicated professional, with lots of experience and her lessons have made a great difference in my game. I would highly recommend her and feel she's an asset to the club.
Nice course set up
Some of the areas around the green are really beat up, otherwise the course is in nice shape
Great shape and fair
The course was in great condition when I played it. It had rained hard before my T-time but the course drained extremely well. The people could not have been nicer and when they learned it was my first time, they drive me to the first tee. A lot of water hazards but if you hit it reasonably straight you should have no worries. I highly recommend you look at the score card before every hole to locate the hazards.
Kendall Gem
Course is challenging and in great shape. Lots of water in strategic places and more sand than south beach! Greens are back from aerating 3 weeks ago just a little bit of sand on certain greens. Fairways and tee boxes are also in great shape. Carts are gas powered and quick. Great practice areas for chipping, putting, sand game, and driving range. Staff is friendly. A great value for under $35 for 18 holes. I would recommend this course.
Better Options Elsewhere
Aerated the greens and gave no notice to golfers. Staff at desk is surly at best and usually just plain nasty. Course conditions are only fair and maintenance is sliding. Try Key Biscayne (Crandon) or Miami Springs for a much better experience and better golf.
Very rude staff
On the fourth hole we experienced the golf pro (blonde hair from England or Scotland) drive right up to the hazard on the green, which we were still playing, and she proceeded to begin to teach a client how to hit out of the sand trap. We nicely asked her for a little courtesy to at least wait until we finished the hole and her response was, "Drop the attitude, I'm the golf pro." I do not think I will ever play this course again due to this.
From The Beach
This course is well-maintained and a challenging layout. The staff is excellent and available. However, for my wife and myself it was not as enjoyable as some lesser courses because of the sand traps. Every green but two or three is surrounded by sand traps. This would not be so bad if that did not always mean that you have at least an alley to approach the green without having to go over sand. The sand is of excellent quality and is quite fair but too challenging for golfers such as we. It was distracting from the attractive, creative design of the course as a whole. The greens rolled true and were slower than we thought they would be. If you do not mind sharpening your sand play then this will be quite enjoyable because of the quality of the track.
Best value in town.
Starting out with the one minor complaint. It seems they work so hard to keep the greens in outstanding shape, they neglect the fairways a little. A few areas are spotty, but playable.
All three nines at this course are challenging and any two makes for a great round. The Dolphin/Marlin combo is the best in my opinion as the Barracuda is a little tricky, i.e., forced layups and hidden water hazards.
As I mentioned, the greens are awesome and have some tricky breaks. Sand traps are in good shape and the tee boxes are good as well. Great value for the money.
I like very much
I WILL BE BACK SOON. Keep the same way not need any extension or any modification, I love the greens are perfect. Thank you,Nicholas
Nice Course
Played Dolphin and Marlin. Course is not pristine, but it's in good shape with interesting holes. Fairways and greens were well maintained.
Always a Challenge to Play
Great layout on Dolphin/Marlin. Fairways and greens were in fairly great condition for this time of year. Beverage cart did not show up during the afternoon round.
Best Value Course In Miami
I've played here twice in the last month. You can't beat the Golfnow price, as the course is well maintained.
The clubhouse is outdated, but at the same time has a nostalgic feel.
However, the first time we played here, there was a mishap with our tee time, and the ranger was a tad condescending towards us, and hurried us all over the course. It was a bit uncomfortable when he kept reminding us to fill our divots, and repair ball marks on greens, but also to hurry up because of reservations. I found it somewhat strange.
The second time, the ranger came over and introduced himself to us, and told us we can tee off whenever we'd like, to take our time. Was a true gentleman and class act.
Overall the course is in great shape, and the green are quick and well maintained. The Marlin course is very fun, while the Dolphin presents a bit more of a challenge. Barracuda is tough too.
Miccosukee April 2015
Always in excellent condition & a fun course to play but some of the tee boxes needed to be cared for.

Barracuda Golf

My Go-To golf course
I enjoy playing different courses, but Miccousukee Golf is one of my regular courses, playing it 2-3 times a month; sometimes 4. Our group usually plays here on fridays. Always in good shape.
The Web.com tour played here and the course is in great shape as if it was still hosting a tournament
Excellent conditions and great value for money as compared to some of the pricier courses in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Reduced Green Fees on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as twilight rates at 3pm daily. I will return to play it at least every other week.
difficult but fun
Fast greens, lots of water hazards, fun and difficult
Must play for those who like challenges
The greens for all 3-courses are 4.5 stars. The fairways are 3 stars. The tee boxes are 3.5 stars. All 3-courses are similar with plenty of large size (I mean larger than typical ones) sand bunkers surrounding each hole. Water is everywhere; alongside fairways and surrounding every hole. You have to force yourself to be straight and precise; otherwise, you would end up in water or sand bunkers. The greens are excellent and have enough undulations to make you feel puzzling. Needless to say, this course has plenty of stuff to test your IQs, EQs, and golf skills.
Driving, Driving, Driving!!!
Make sure to leave your slice at home. This course is competitive and long, straight drives create easier approach shots for lower scores on the card. Greens are very well kept. Did I mention tons of hazards course wide?
