Good course will play it again

Would be even better if they had GPS and open to the public year round.

Played this as a single from golf now. Only problem is the starters don't put you in a group. You have to hustle and beg to be grouped with a foursome. Or face the alternative, trapped in the vortex of SINGLE GOLFER IN THE MIDDLE OF INFINITE FOURSOMES. Other than that. Greens were in great shape. Layout solid. Make sure bring your range finders because all you get is 100 , 150, and 200.

The day I played the weather was cloudy and windy. Although the greens still showed vague signs of a recent airiation they were fast and honest. The course was in excellent shape.

The front nine was almost uniformly straight and easy with wide fairways and large, elevated (add a club) greens. The one blind shot is a par four dog-leg left and is almost reachable if you're long off the tee.

The back side was just a bit narrower on some holes with a bit more water and it played shorter. There are no blind shots or hidden creeks to carry.

I felt the course played a little longer than the yardage in the front but every hole was reachable for this high-handicapper.

All in all this was a very nice, relaxing 18 holes with almost no one else out there.

All the holes are very straight and typically short. Not very challenging and kind of a boring play. If visiting, I would recommend spending your time somewhere else. Overall decent course for the money though.

The course is moderately difficult, good yardage from the blues and plenty of water. The fairways are lush and the greens are well maintained. Very good for South Broward.

The course in in excellent shape. Greens were great. The only bad thing was they let five foursomes tee off and they played really slow and the course rangers never told them to pick up the pace. The round took five hours!!!!

The course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly. I was pleased that they offered coolers of ice on a very hot day.

Pace of play was good. Marshall was not following on every hole.

Course plays a bit long. Need to hit fairways to stay in the game.

We have Been playing this course a bunch of time and is always in a good shape . Great course to play

Nice layout. Course in nice shape. Greens in great shape. Only con was no cart girl on a hot Monday morning. Everything else was a gem.

This course is in phenomenal shape. Staff is great. Having just relocated back to south florida after 30 years away, I try and book early, so I can play faster in the morning to avoid the heat. Unfortunately the group in front of us had a hole open in front of them the entire back 9. So our group waited every shot. We were 3 holes ahead of the group behind us. This could have been helped if there was an ambassador on the course to help facilitate us being allowed to play through. While the course and price point are incredible, the heat and pace soured the experience, that I just wanted off the course.

Everything was great including pace of play definite one of the best conditioned course in the area if not the best

I played this track about a month ago. Until then, I had never heard about it. So I went around telling my friends about it so that we could go play it and their answer was the same as mine when I first played it: Holy what? "H-o-l-l-y-b-r-o-o-k in Pembroke Pines" I said. Seems they only open to the public during certain months. The layout was fairly simple and forgiving for the most part. Very relaxing and good conditions. There are two or three holes that you really need to think carefully before loading up on the tee box; the 16th hole is a good example. But overall, wide nice fairways and good to very good greens. In much better condition than other courses in the area that are charging the same or even more. Only a couple of small patches that you can tell they are working on. Didn't affect play drastically, if at all. Only issue was that we never saw a vending cart. But there was one the first time I played so maybe they called in sick or something. Good thing it was overcast, otherwise It would have been a huge inconvenience.

Going back for sure.

First time playing this course - had a resident with my group who knew the layout. Cart girl drove around and never stopped, or asked if we needed anything. The staff was pleasant but the hidden gem was the course itself- great layout, great condition and the greens are in great shape (17 out of 18). Going back to play

First time playing Hollybrook and enjoyed it very much. Its a traditional style parkland design golf course, with long flat fairways that are framed with mature trees that are placed in just the right spots. Having said that, theres plenty of room off the tee to be aggressive because there isnt much out of bounds except for the edges of the property. The course at the end of May was in great shape. Greens were rolling good. Its a great course to play if you like a straight forward course that doesnt have any goofy distactions placed around the fairways and greens. The property has a very relaxing atmosphere when playing the course. Was worth the drive.

Challenging and well take care!

I have lived down here for 35 years and play a lot different courses . This course is usually private I thought and liked the idea of playing it for the first time. Very nice and I would play it again.

This was the first time playing the course. Staff did not go out of its way to ask our twosome if it was our first time at the course, so we were left to fend for ourselves. We found the putting green and first tee without any trouble, however, we were unaware that there was a driving range until driving by it on #18. Overall, an above average course, especially for $35 on a Sunday. Pace of play was good and the course conditions were good. The greens were 95% good with some minor re-sodding. I would recommend playing the course.
