Quality Golf Course

I traveled a long way to play Riverwood. I was not disappointed. I've lived in Southwest Florida for four years now and this is probably the best golf course I"ve played. Choosing the right tees to play from is crucial to having an enjoyable experience at this golf course.

Great course

Course was in great shape. Greens were punched a few weeks prior but really has no real impact on putting. Rolled pretty true and we’re I’m guessing a tad slower that they will be once the fully recover in a week or so. Practice area was decent. Same for clubhouse. Staff was very friendly. Don’t hesitate to jump on this course. You’ll be glad you did.

Excellent course

I'll admit first off that this course was better than my skill level. With that being said, the course was very nice. The fairways were pristine, and the greens were so smooth. I think the tee times were a little too close together since we were constantly waiting on the groups ahead of us.

One time only

Won’t play there again cart person stopped coming around at 11:30am club house closed at 2pm. Greens were not in good condition. Gas cold carts suck. Layout was good though. For it being one of the best golf courses in port Charlotte, they don’t act like it.

Great layout.

Always loved this layout. However some of the greens were in very bad condition. I was told after i played. The greens were damaged due to oil leak from the mower. I could not roll the ball on a few of the greens. Dissapointed

Not bad

Greens were in pretty rough shape, probably rolling at a 6-7 and diseased/damaged on a few. Worth mentioning because the starter confidently/arrogantly stated they were “always immaculate”… was not impressed.
