Chimney Oaks Golf Club

Scheduled a threesome immediately behind our foursome and it was rush rush all day.

Loved the course. A hidden treasure in North Georgia! Challenging for all ages and levels.

This is a $20 golf experience. T boxes and greens are far from the cart path which is very curvy and bumpy. Fairways are pretty good. Greens cut inconsistently. Staff not unfriendly but not very helpful. Had to ask other players where first hole was. Back nine much more creative than the front. More challenging as well. Had a fun time but for $30 there are many more courses around.

I feel like this is a work of art that is in progress. Here is what is complete: A golf course with a great layout. Hard enough to challenge the best, but forgiving for the high handicapper. Infrastructure for a golf community. A few condos, and a club house that is planned for replacement. Finally a great staff and clubhouse cook.

What it needs: the infrastructure is in place and all they need is the community (great homesites are available), a new clubhouse, and a resort hotel.

As it currently stands this is a hidden gem. Once it gets discovered I probably won't be able to afford playing here.

a group of men played on a Saturday morning. Course was flexible on rate & tee time & worked with us. Got us off on time & pace of play for our group was good. They are working on improving course, greens, sand traps in good shape, fairways need to grow in & thicken up. Good variety of holes. Individuals at the course were pleasant to work with. Interesting to see how course improves. Would go back & recommend for a foursome or a group outing

Course was being irrigated. Still course was nice and has lots to play with. Great price for 18 holes and cart.

Course is improving each week. Greens are mainly in good shape. Fairways are starting to grow in. Fun but challenging course to play. Staff is excellent. Highlight is the 19th Hole Grill.

I play Chimney Oaks frequently and the course is improving. The greens were quick and uniform. A few greens have some bad spots but they are healing nicely Fairways are tight and firm.

Had a great time with my son-in-law! We both loved the character of the golf course. The greens rolled fast and true. Its never boring on this course with the multiple changes from open spacious holes to rolling hills then to tree lined fairways with ever changing scenery. Great value for this wonderful afternoon of golf.

The course was well drained following two days of rain; 90-degree rule in effect. Fairway grass is becoming dormant, but the greens are in very good shape. Sand traps are excellently groomed. New owners continue to improve course. New home construction is under way, but does not interfere with play in any way.

I have not played here in the last year due to the wreak this course was in. The last time I played they had torn up the cart paths, cut down many of the trees on the front nine and had ignored the fairways and greens. They put some kind of river bottom sand in the traps that were difficult to play out of. I thought I would give them another try and was pleasantly surprised. The front nine is still not very appealing but they have repaired the cart paths and the greens and fairways were much better, even with the extremely dry weather we have had recently. I like the layout and the back nine is better than I have seen it before. I shall return soon.

Very pleased with the over all experience

Let's just say this is the best kept secret in North Georgia. Greens are back and better then ever. Place of play is outstanding 18holes 2.15hrs. All you want from back tee box. I heard they lost the greens but superintendent must be a doctor in another life, to bring them back from the dead. Not sure who manager is, but they are headed in the right direction now. Also beer is cold and food must be outstanding, cause dinning room was full at 1pm.

My friends and I play this course at least monthly. The greens are looking much better in the last few weeks, this is a great course to play and we always have a great time when we are there! Everyone also needs to try out their 19th hole restaurant, we ate there after our round and the food was amazing! Hands down best place to eat and golf! Go hang make a day of it with ur buddies or take your family!

The course just needed some work, but now I'd play it everyday if possible! PGA worthy!

Played the other day and greens are looking really good! They have done a great job recovering the greens from a tough summer! I will definitely be back bc they are only going up from here!

Played on 9/18. It is horrible ! Worst green ever !

I want to refund my $25.00. Please do not play this course for a while.

My friends and i play here pretty regularly. Its not a fancy course but it is cheap. Went today and the front 9 was closed due to the greens looking like a blizzard hit them covered with sand. I found this out after austin demanded to see where i had prepaid for my round of golf and i wemt to the number 1 tee. Staff had neglected to tell us that the front 9 was closed for maintenance. Played 4-5 holes on the back 9 and ran into 2 groups of 5 that would not let me pass. Went back to the pro shop and austin said he would give me a rain check for 9 holes but if i left the pro shop without taking him up on the raincheck that the deal was over! I left angry and i will not be back for some time.

I like the course overall but the greens need some TLC in a bad way. Austin needs an attitude adjustment as well!
