Greens are as good as any we’ve played. They continue to make improvements & it shows. Best shape I’ve seen it in a while. If you’ve not played BCGC recently go play. New owners are making investments in course. Looking forward to seeing it with proposed changes implemented.

The guy at the Pro Shop is worth the trip! He’s great! Makes you feel welcome so I always ck in for a laugh. Remembers your name too. The sprinklers have been on twice now which prevented me from T-ing off once on 3 and Putting on 8. Waiting for greens keeper no prob but a simple nod of apology either time would have earned that 5th star for the course. Ijs

This course was better than I prepared for based on the previous reviews. While the sand was harder than most courses, that only applies if you landed in the bunkers - stay out!!! I loved the speed of the greens.

One of those courses you have to get out and experience personally to make your own judgement!

Course has more hazard areas than expected, but overall keep it straight and in bounds and you’ll score low!!! 3/5 stars (average, not immaculate).

This was my first time playing a full round since Oct 2020 due to a shoulder injury. Upon checking in, I "handed" my credit card to the the staff member that checked me in. He slid/tossed my credit card across the counter to me then, tossed my receipt onto the counter. The old me would've had some choice words for him. I chose to ignore his rude behavior and walked away. This course needs so much water, it's like playing on a pool table. The greens are the only part of the course that appear to be getting watered. The area has not had significant rainfall in a couple of weeks. You can hit a tee shot down the center of the fairway then, watch it bounce relentlessly out of bounds because the ground is SO hard. However, the greens are being soaked. One green had been watered so much it created a puddle on the green. The bunkers were inconsistent: some had plenty of sand and others had none. This course has great potential but needs about 10 inches of rain because it's obvious "the powers that be" are not willing to incur the expense to irrigate the fairways and tee boxes. What a shame too because they have done a good job controlling the weeds. I would love to see this course after it gets some water. Could be REALLY nice!

Played here multiple times before. The greens weren’t like this slow and bumpy in the past. Some fairways have bald spots. Some tee boxes are like rocks. Hard to put tees down. Other than these the course and the prices are reasonable. Maybe give another try in a month to see whether those conditions got better or not.

Always a fun round of golf here. The greens were in very good shape, rolled straight and true. The grass on the fairways is not coming in as it should and with the lack of rain, they were hard.

This course has a lot of potential. The greens were good but the course has no irrigation from tee to green. Hard packed with very spotty fairways. Clubhouse is in repair mode. The cart I had was sluggish. I won’t return until they get their irrigation issues fixed.

New ownership is making improvements to course & clubhouse & it shows. If you’ve not played there recently GO play. Greens are good, fairways getting better.

People there are nice & accommodating. Our threesome played in 3 1/2 hours today. Really glad to see what’s happening, highly recommend.

We like playing here most times, however, today we were paired up with a couple of guys and a young kid. Now I have nothing against taking your kids to golf. I have done it numerous times. But save those early tee times for golfers who play faster and aren’t letting the kids play around. We all gotta start somewhere, but later in the day would be better. The pace of play was very slow and grueling the front nine. They bailed after that and we finished back nine in an hour twenty. Will definitely play there again. Just hope they think a little more about 7:08 am pairings.

We enjoyed the Course We we’re glad to see the upgrades in the Clubhouse such as a Bar and Grill and in the course with the fairways and the Greens we had kinda stop playing there for a while for all what we saw today we will put the Course back into rotation we loved that they or putting money into the course it’s a hidden gem keep up the good .

Tee times spaced out nicely. Greens were in very good shape. A few fairways under repair but overall a very good day at Bear Creek

Was a little pricey for three fairways under repair and some sand beds needed some fresh sand
