Lake Tahoe Golf Course

tried to get out earlier than scheduled tee-time, said they couldn't, even though many open spots. weather changes, rained a couple times but no more than 2 mins. got all backed-up on back 9, saw a group of 7 and 5, they'll let you do that but not change our time?

AMAZING VIEW!!!! The weather was perfect and the course was in very good conditions. I would recommend this course to anyone. Decent difficulty of play and the staff was friendly. If you purchase beer, they let you keep the cooler it comes in. They announce your name when teeing off at the first tee box. Overall an amazing experience.

Played 11 holes and lightning hit the area but the course played ok. Greens were moderate, fairways very good.

Very nice course, but ultra busy. Usually waited for every shot and wait on tee was always at least five minutes.

Very slow play. 3 gorups backed up on the 6th hole. Fivesomes in multiple groups on the course. Course was in good shape and reasonably priced but be ready for a long round.

Always a fun course to play. Mostly fairly wide. It is a beautiful course with great back drops of the mountains. Good pro shop and 19th hole.

Somewhat deep rough, but fairways and greens in good shape. The meandering creeks present a scenic challenge.

Course in very good condition. Not many players due to weather conditions. Fortunately, no rain, just big clouds and gray skies. Starter and Marshall were very helpful and friendly. Joe in the pro shop not so friendly and tried to charge $10 more than the Golfnow price, so bring your reservation contract If you are using Golfnow.com.

Well groomed course roams back and forth over flowing stream. Tough greens.

Rolled in and played essentially an empty course
Well maintained, wide fairways with many dog legs
Recommend buying the corse map to avoid unexpected water hazards on the doglegs

This is one of the best golf courses that I have played.

Played the 1:00 discount rate. This course is a tremendous value with a discounted rate. I would easily play it again.

Really didn't give the course much hope when I first pulled in. Looked like a glorified muni course with a bunch of players in assorted attire (one guy in jeans shorts and a tie-dyed tee shirt). Pace of play gets off to a slow start with an opening par five followed by a par three but opens up after that. The somewhat basic front nine soon turns into a very challenging and scenic back nine. A fairly good golf test but a little over-priced (although the going rate for the area).

Front nine played in 2 hrs. When we hit the 10th tee, there were 4 -4 somes waiting on the tee with one group in the fairway and one on the green. A Marshall was at the 10th tee and said he just for there and didn't know what was going on and sat there and didn't think it was his job to go find out what the problem was. They were letting a group of nine play together on certain holes which is just ridiculous!!!!

Great golf course but don't play on a weekend it was very slow.

Fairways are fairly wide. Greens were nice. Fun course not very challenging.

My wife and I played there on 8/17/2014 and they hooked us up with a local twosome from the Fallen Leaf Lake area so they had some local knowledge and were very personable. The course rangers and staff were friendly and the course was in great shape. We had a great time and will definitely go back when in the area.

Had a great time out there. Fun course with some pretty good challenges. I will definitely be playing there every time I go back to Tahoe!

Second time playing this course. Both times have had a great time. A enjoyable course for an average player like myself but I think it has enough challenges for the more advanced player as well. Scenery is terrific, the staff is friendly and helpful, the driving range and practice green are fine. The price ($85-90) is perhaps a bit steep but, hey...it's Tahoe in the summer and really not a big deal.
