About
Located in Gainesville, Chicopee Woods Golf Course is one of the area's most popular public courses. The 27-hole layout is divided intro three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The nines, the Village, the School, and the Mill, share a beautiful rolling landscape provided by the surrounding foothills of the Appalachians. The School nine is the second longest of the three. Water comes into play on four holes, more than on any of the other nines. The course finishes with a memorable water hole. The par-5 ninth hole has two ponds that wrap around the green. Besides the water, you'll also have strategically placed bunkers to contend with. There are many challenging holes at Chicopee Woods G.C., but none of the courses are overly punishing for high handicappers.

Great weather!
Had a good time at Chicopee other day. Wasn't my best golf to say the least but course was good, fairways were pretty good and greens good. Will be back for sure!!

The course has improved over the past year - new cart paths, good overall course condition, GPS in the carts. You have done an excellent job. Will come back

Way overcrowded on a Saturday
This was just bad planning and overselling spots. I had to leave after 9 bc it took 3 hours and the marshalls were nowhere to be seen. I like this course but come on. Will be a while before I'm back.

Great Value for the money, but….
I love the course, especially for the money. However, I was very unimpressed by the lack of friendliness of the staff. We were treated poorly because I had my two junior sons with me. I’m sure the assumption was that they couldn’t keep up, and it would slow everyone down. Truth is, we were the ones waiting on every shot. Here’s some advice.. you want to encourage the growth of golf, make it enjoyable for families, not just rich, white men who can’t play for squat anyway.

Awesome course
Great conditions. Fairways were lush and greens were very true. Tee boxes were good as well. Awesome time playing this track and has 27 holes

A really fun course to play!
Had a great time playing. A few holes have some course construction in progress. Cart paths are undergoing renovations in many areas.

Consistent over the past several weeks
Great staff! Course is in good condition; greens look great, and are still rolling slow; a bit too slow for me (An observation not a compliant). Tee boxes all looked good. A very enjoyable round of golf on an enjoyable course. Look forward to returning.
