About
Located in Gainesville, Chicopee Woods Golf Course is one of the area's most popular public courses. The 27-hole layout is divided intro three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The nines, the Village, the School, and the Mill, share a beautiful rolling landscape provided by the surrounding foothills of the Appalachians. The School nine is the second longest of the three. Water comes into play on four holes, more than on any of the other nines. The course finishes with a memorable water hole. The par-5 ninth hole has two ponds that wrap around the green. Besides the water, you'll also have strategically placed bunkers to contend with. There are many challenging holes at Chicopee Woods G.C., but none of the courses are overly punishing for high handicappers.

Great value
We had a great round until we were harassed and challenged to a fight for holding up the group behind us. It ruined an otherwise great day!

Green Tees
Having turned 65+ recently, I played from the Senior Tees and it really helped the body and mind on this hilly course. Club selection is interesting and it made it easier to score. I must say the greens are wicked fast.... I would back off on rolling them LOL. All in all a very nice day at the course. It would be nice if it were a little cheaper to play there. Fixed income.....

First time back in almost 4 mths
Been laid up away from golf for a bit. This was my first round back and it did not disappoint.
Course still very green and the fairways and greens were in great shape.

Never Disappoints
Course is always on time with tee times, always in good condition, always been fair on price and always has food and drinks available. The starter is full of info if you need it and always has a good attitude. They have marshals running around to keep up the pace and if it is a little slow they usually will stop and let you know that they are either looking for the hold up or found it and are working to improve

You guys don’t offer good rates
When I reserved there was no ability to get the discounts I and my playing partner received when we checked in. Also the $12 booking fee was a waste.
