About
Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachians, Chicopee Woods Golf Course is a 27-hole course that sprawls across rolling terrain. It is one of the most popular public courses in the Gainesville area. The holes are divided into three nines called the Village, the School, and the Mill. They share the same scenic landscape but they each offer a different set of challenges. Five sets of tees provide the option of playing to your skill level. The Mill is the shortest of the three nines. Strategically placed bunkers come into play on almost every hole, you'll find plenty of them on the par-4 seventh. There are back-to-back water features starting with the second hole, the golf course's only water holes. Chicopee Woods GC also has a driving range and chipping and putting greens available.

One of the best courses I have played. Beautifully well kept. Staff was friendly and course was challenging. Will definitely play here again
one of my favorite courses
played here for years, love this course and the three nines. Love the layout carved out of the forest, no houses lining the course! Greens were great, course in great shape other than 1 or 2 areas under repair. Always a great outing.

Great course for the money
The course is in excellent shape. Greens are fast and fairways are lush and green. All three 9 hole courses are challenging and different. I love Chicopee Woods golf course. Keep up the great work..

Great Shape & Pace
One of the better courses we’ve played from tee boxes to greens. According to my partner comparable to Ga Club in Stathem. Played School & Mill. Really like #9 on school. All good lies in fairway (grass cut w/ stripes) & most tee boxes in good shape, a rarity. Pace of play helped by starter letting us go in front of a group w/ riders. Highly recommend. Would play more often if could get < $40. Took advantage of a GN deal with % off Do wish ice was free for cart coolers especially in 90 degrees

Best public course
Chicopee woods is a very nice place to take the kids or the whole family for that matter. The course is very well kept and I would recommend to anyone. One of the nicest places I have to ever been.

Chicopee June 6
First time in years the pace was nice. Always before tee times were stacked tight with slow play. Hopefully, they’ve fixed this issue as no one likes to constantly wait in their golf round. I will play there as long as pace remains good. Otherwise, somewhere else.

Pace of Play
Course is nice, however the Pace of Play is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. No reason should it take 2 hours & 15 mins to play 9 holes. Slow groups should let faster groups play through & the course should spread out tee times, it’s ridiculous! I’ll never play this course again because of the pace of play. Also this was a business day not a weekend, just pathetic.

Great course
Course was in great shape, price is right, and the staff is top notch, as always.
Only drawback was a lot of ground crew action (I know it needs to be done), but was kind of distracting.

Always Great
I’ve played Chicopee several times and the course has always been in good condition. Interesting layouts on all three of the nine hole courses. And each nine has its own personality which makes for an enjoyable experience every time. You have chances to bomb some drives and also have to have precise shots in your bag. Dogleg holes, elevation changes and water are all part of the course. Challenging and fair for golfers of all levels.

Pace of play is awful
played front 9 in 1 hour and 40 mins and second nine waited behind three groups consecutively. Back nine took close to 3 hours… Not to mention the ranger warning us to speed up on the front nine that we were 15 minutes ahead of pace currently when he said so. Overall the course conditions were great but staff was not very friendly that i talked to and they stack TOO MANY tee times together.
