Played yesterday.....great course...impressed with challenge and condition...bunkers a little sad....but you should not be in them--- should you!

This is a fun and interesting layout for a great value.
Staff is very friendly. Facilities are clean and well laid out.

This course was in great shape for Feburary. Price was excellent.

The course was in really good condition, the pace of play was good, I was paired with three others who love to play and were pretty good players.
There was just enough water and bunkers to cause you to really think, instead of just winging it.

Considering the time of year the course is in excellent condition. Many tee boxes to choose from and as full as the course was we moved along. Lots of water and sand but a fun course to play and very well kept.

Very nice layout with better conditioned greens than most courses I've played in the area during February. There is a long cart ride between some holes through a neighborhood of homes, but I was paired up with a member who knew the way. Still, the round took only 3/12 hours on a weekday. Worth a visit if you're in the Hilton Head area.

This is always a great course to play. Very well maintained. It's a teaching academy site so some times the pace could be slow. If you don't find the name in your golf app it use to be called Cannongate GC.

No room on range, packed with the juniors from the academy (on a Sunday), we just made our own space) Moderately challenging, changing to very challenging on the back, fun course. Front nine extremely slow, back opened up, someone must have quit, and good pace. Need a ranger or two!

We really like this course and it's challenges and variety within the course holes. However, we have played on Sundays and the play time is excruciating slow. Wish I had brought my book to read between tee off from hole to hole. Management should insist on four-somes to aid in flow of holes. Hole #8 is a par 3 and the layout results in having to drive the cart beyond the pin and walk back to the green resulting in a back up of playing groups more so than other Par 3 on a variety of courses. Think the designers should reconsider the layout and have a footbridge leading over the creek

Had not played Pinecrest before on several stays in Hilton Head, but am glad I found it. This course has an extensive practice facility and the course itself is in very good shape. Greens put smooth, bunkers are maintained and fairways are overseeded. While tee to green is very challenging, the greens are generous in size providing a cushion for slight errant shots. Putting skill is a must.

A great layout with super practice facilites . Well designed , great greens and bunkers . Fairways in great shape for Jan. A real fun golf experience . There are a lot of good quality courses just off HHI and this is one of the best .

Two flight delays kept me from getting to the course for an early afternoon tee time. After a couple phone calls advising the staff of my dilemma, they were very accommodating in getting me onto the course when I arrived several hours later. Great job.

I liked everything about it. Very challenging, in excellent condition. The club house was great. I liked having free balls at the driving range. There was a driving range, putting, chipping, everything you need to practice before playing.

First time playing this course after visiting Hilton Head over the past 20 years. Very nice surprise.
Excellent layout and very good conditions for that time of the year.
Will definitely play it again!

Pinecrest is a good course, well maintained with a nice practice facility. However, it has route marches between holes that rule out trying to walk unless you're a fitness freak. I would recommend the course, especially to advanced players. Weekend golfers should bring plenty of ammo.

Course in fairly good shape, but crowded and slow. Nothing special and many better, more interesting courses in area.

Overseeding was flawless...like a new carpet. Greens in wonderful shape. Good layout for golfer who knows where to land the ball for the next shot.

No restrooms on the course????

A surprisingly good course for a moderate price. Very good layout, lots of water, interesting to play. Houses on the sides but did not affect it in a bad sense.
Course conditions were very good in first week of November.

A lot of water to chalange you. if you slice the ball there is a couple of holes that have large water hazerd on the right side.

need to work on combining single groups into or 4 some but had no problems besides that
