Lanier Islands Legacy Golf Course

Easily one of the best course in GA. Truly beautiful with so knU holes along the lake. But also expertly maintained and awesome layout. Despite the haven’t rain lately, fairways were generally dry enough for a good lie and greens were super smooth. Usually they are lightning fast but still ran good even tho we had all the rain. Will come back asap.

Overall the course is in very good shape even with this heat. Greens were punched in the beginning of the month and have not recovered. The rest of the course is wonderful and the views cannot be topped. The staff is one of the best so friendly and respectful. Really enjoy this course and hope the greens heal quickly!

Great scenery with lake view holes, layout and challenging on every shot!! Must go if you are in Georgia! Staff was great!! Tony was super helpful! Course was in great shape, very well maintained.

Legacy at Lanier is a beautiful course with 11 holes on the Lake. It is great condition and the pace of play is excellent. It is challenging course and I consider holes 12-15 their version of Amen Corner. It can be a little pricey but overall a great course.

Very nice horse just ended playing nine hole because the weather

I’ve been meaning to play legacy for a while. Played for $160 Saturday the first. Seemed really overpriced. Several greens had a ton of past hole locations near the current pin position. One of the trash cans was so full you couldn’t put anything in it. Didn’t see any rangers on the course at all.

Also the “meal included” was blimpy subs cut into 1/4s. If you can get on for $70 sure it’s probably worth it. But truly nothing special when there are courses in way better shape for the $. I wouldn’t play again anytime soon.

Course is in great shape, greens look and roll perfect, fairways have filled in nicely. Tee boxes are coming in or they have sodded so will be perfect soon. The work they have done is showing. Staff is extremely friendly and always willing to work with you. I just wish everyone hadn’t discovered this gem because it’s now too difficult to find deals.

Overall great course you will not be disappointed

It was a great time and course offers some challenging holes for sure. Priced a little high compared to some other Atlanta courses but certainly worth experiencing on special occasions. You want regret.

I felt like I was a member of a private golf club every time I played here. Try it to find out. Sceneries were very gorgeous. Course layout were challenging but fun. Love it.

Course was just beautiful. My complaint was that except for the last two holes and the par threes, it was difficult to determine where to hit the ball off the tee. Did not use my driver until #17. If you like target golf, this course is for you. It would help if you had played here more than once, but still too much guessing for my taste. Fairways were a bit thin as well, but I am used to playing on zoysia with bent grass greens.

Our round was perfect from start to finish. The course is in fantastic condition and the greens were rolling excellent. We played in just over 3 hours! We always feel welcome here and the staff treat us like family. This is a must-play for any golfer with so many holes on Lake Lanier. Stunning!
