Interesting course
We enjoyed the course and found it to be not too challenging. Staff were very cheerful and helpful - especially considering that we played there on Thanksgiving day. The only negative is that the cart paths very much need to be repaved. Driving around the course was quite jolting on most holes.
Great value
Bay and piper are my preferred 9’s. Course was in good shape, and staff was helpful and friendly.
Fairways were excellent
A great price for a good round of golf
I don't know why this course doesn't receive higher ratings from people that play there. The greens are great, the fairways are still good, and the staff are friendly. Only thing I would change, a more usable bag drop. I don't like my clubs piles on a cart and driven out back.
Confusion
Course was great. However, when I checked in with pro shop they had no record of my 12:45 tee time reservation even though I had the printed reservation from Golf Now to confirm. The starter had no record of the tee time either, but worked us in after a 30 minute delay and much confusion.
Unfortunately the 4some ahead of us was very slow; nobody ahead of them, but they didn’t let us play through. We were a 3some, so understood we would’ve faster than a 4some, but it would have been nice to let us play through.
Will not be back
Go play Thistle, Pearl or Sea Trail courses instead. Honestly I was not impressed. Disappointed in fact because I had read good reviews; plus I love the name.
Surprised it was so affordable
The fairways were well kept , no
high grass anywhere. Greens were excellent . Best course I have played this week
Great Course but Overbooked
We made a starting time on TeeOff.com for 12pm and arrived at the course at 11:30am. Checked in the pro shop at 11:40am and are receipt printed that are starting time was 12:56. We checked with the starter to find out why we were moved to 12:56 pm and were told they don't even open up the one 9 until 1:pm. They finally got us out around 1pm. Felt bad for the starters because they were overwhelmed by the amount of golfers there trying to get out. We thought the communication from TeeOff and the Golf course was very poor by not informing us of the 1 hr. delay. and making it a 5 1./2 day.
The golf course was in great shape but overall we were disappointed in a long day there and missing our 6:30 dinner reservation with our wives.which we'll be hearing about for the next 3 months.
