Golfer Reviews
Great layout, good condition
Well maintained course with a fun layout. Water around most holes but not in play unless you really go off course. Friendly staff.
Good Golf for the Money
Overall, it was a good experience. I’ve been coming to this course during vacation for the last 4 years. The greens were just rolled and cut probably a little too low when they were watered a few days back, but overall they rolled pretty decent. Fairways were flush and in good shape.
Not my best experience but it was good
Got to the course 30 minutes early, the guy at the register said “your early you have time to hit a bag of free balls” when the guy got our clubs he said go straight to tee box, when we go to the 1st tee box there was 3 foursomes waiting and we were only 2 players me and my son, on their website it said anyone under 16 was only 25 they never asked the age just charged me the full rate. The pace of play was so slow, felt like they overbooked the tee times. Overall the course was very nice compared to what we normally play on.
Sandpiper
My daughter and brother in law played on father's day.Pace of play was good , greens were fair , we had a good time.
Sandpiper bay golf course
Beautiful course but was too wet for reasonable play, even with cart path only.
Great course for solid price
Was paired up with another single (who lived on the course). The pace of play was pretty slow on the back 9 because there was a twosome in front of us taking their time. Very pretty course in pretty good shape. Landscape was very nice. Little disappointed in the greens, they were a bit sandy so the greens were not running true but everything else was really lovely. Somewhat disappointed, I heard you got complimentary range balls and the gentlemen in the clubhouse knew I was from out of town, so he really did not say anything nor told me where to go to check in. Reiterate the course was a pleasure to play for the price. Would recommend.
Nice course, but cart path is dicey
The course is in excellent shape right now. Only downside is the cart path needs attention.
Great day
Course is in excellent condition. Had a great day. Pace was a little slower than previous rounds, but weather was perfect .
They have added an extra set of tees by having you play from a mix of white and yellow tees. Don’t know why more courses don’t do this because it lets you play a good overall yardage. Other players in group played the white tees which would have been too much for me. This was great for a bit more challenge
Course in great shape, a little wet
4 1/2 hour round, wet conditions, but allowed to ride on fairway. Bay side closed, but Sand & Piper in great shape.
Highly recommended
My father in-law and I played here for the first time while on vacation from Ohio and what a beautiful course. I’m about a 20 handicap and it was challenging but very fun. Not the hardest but not the easiest either. Staff was super nice and so was the club member we got pairs with. Thanks for showing us the ropes Dave. Highly recommend
Good Course
Good Course for the money. The round came with a bag of range balls. Chipping and putting greens were also very nice. The pace of play was very good and the conditions could not have been better. Great staff.
Another Course North of Myrtle
And another good track. Greens were in great shape, very impressed with the value of this course and a lot of course I’ve been to in the Calabash, Little River, sunset beach area. I’d recommend this, had a bit of a country club feel in that the bag guys and staff are very professional. Well run course with 27 holes I played Piper and Bay course. Just enough water (some is hidden).
Great Layout
This is my second time playing Sandpiper Bay. I played with a very nice couple. Course conditions were great for this time of year. Due to the social distancing I did not take advantage of the concessions. The staff at the course are very nice and accommodating as I had an issue with my cart. Great value for the money and I will be returning
Great course
Love this course. It is one of our favorites - always well maintained and beautiful with all the water features. Great golf at a great price!
