beautiful course,good layout , right on Albemarle Sound a hugh body of water, good breeze, brent grass greens, great views along the way, just hard to get to but Ill play it again

While chatting with one of the staff members I learned the new Pro Shop had been open only about three weeks. The course is great and the new Pro Shop is very nice. I found the location of the new Pro Shop, though, to be very inconvenient considering that it's located a half of mile or more from the first hole. When we mad the turn after nine holes we had a long ride to the Pro Shop to get refreshments. When the Pro Shop was located near the first hole and the ninth hole it was more convenient.

Challenging course, friendly/ helpfull staff, look forward to my next round here.

Only issue was finding a nice Place to eat dinner.

Don't let the scorecard fool you. Even though this course looks like a long course for the women golfer, it is very playable. You need not be a long ball hitter to play the course. Greens are in great shape. Spent the night at one of the courses rentals - a great set up for a couples trip, buddies weekend, girls weekend away or a small corporate retreat.

Really wet day. It had rained the whole day before and on & off for the front nine. Course was cart path only but was in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are up there with some of the better courses I've played. Lots of tee options for all levels of players. Greens rolled great. I'll be back!

Awesome piece of property with an outstanding golf course in great condition . A must play for any golf enthusiast ! We will be back soon . Wish it was closer than the 1 1/2 hour trip from Wilson, NC

we played this course on wed. after we had several inches of rain. the course was playable but very wet. cart paths only, other than that this course was in great shape, nice greens, nice tee boxes, great fair ways, one of the best courses we have played. will play again, but when its dryer

Found a great deal on golfnow on a course I really wanted to play so away I went. Attendant met me at my car with my cart, he loaded my bag, told me a little about the course. Cart had a small cooler with bottled water and a nice gps system that was very helpful with all the distances.Coolers on the course with bottled water and apples were a pleasant surprise.

The course was in great shape. Fun layout with challenging holes. Some of the truest greens I have ever played on. Fairways like carpets. Rough is short but thick...easy to loose a ball even near the green

Amazing views, long par 4's and 5's. Greens roll true and rough is super thick.

Fantastic layout! Course winds through the property where no one hole is like another. Fairways and greens are top-notch!

Wow! Drove 2 hours from the Outer Banks area (Corolla) & wasn't disappointed. This course was spectacular. From tee to green, the course is in great shape especially this late in the summer. The greens fees was even more a surprise for such a high quality course. I recommend anyone in the vicinity of this course to book a round. You will not regret it.

Have played here before, but it was after 4" of rain & cart paths only,but still loved it. Got to play it this time with ideal conditions, just made it even more enjoyable, love bentgrass greens,love water on par 3's...have played a lot of so called " upscale " courses, and haven't seen that. It is true test of your game from tee to green,just make sure to play correct tees,or it will be a long day. Beautiful views,and layout,staff was great to,we will be back....hopefully soon!

A lot of the course you can see the water of the sound. Great views and the course will challenge you. A must play. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition.

THIS COURSE CAN BE AS TOUGH AS YOU WANT IT TO BE. IT IS ALWAYS IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS FREINDLY

Course conditions were great, greens rolled true. Stay in the fairways, rough was 3 inches, so ball placement a key factor. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I'll continue playing this course, love the challenge. A must play course..

An hour into my drive I was wondering if I ever would find this place. 30 minutes later I entered into Scotch Hall Preserve and I got the feeling it was gonna be a special day!!! Wow the place is beautiful !! Beautiful scenery around a well laid out golf course presenting challenges at every turn. Greens were immaculate, fairways rolling and fast the rough sticky. The staff treated me like family, they were glad that I was there and everyone took pride in their establishment. Cart girl was classic Carolina girl sweet as pie with a beautiful demeanor that matched her smile.This is a must play even with the 1 and 1/2 drive. $25 on golfnow is a steal. It just get any better even if you have to drive for results.

Scotch Hall Preserve is a world class golf course. There is not a course anywhere that is in.better condition. This is a must play course if you like golf at a good price.
