Have played here before, but it was after 4" of rain & cart paths only,but still loved it. Got to play it this time with ideal conditions, just made it even more enjoyable, love bentgrass greens,love water on par 3's...have played a lot of so called " upscale " courses, and haven't seen that. It is true test of your game from tee to green,just make sure to play correct tees,or it will be a long day. Beautiful views,and layout,staff was great to,we will be back....hopefully soon!

A lot of the course you can see the water of the sound. Great views and the course will challenge you. A must play. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition.

THIS COURSE CAN BE AS TOUGH AS YOU WANT IT TO BE. IT IS ALWAYS IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS FREINDLY

Course conditions were great, greens rolled true. Stay in the fairways, rough was 3 inches, so ball placement a key factor. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I'll continue playing this course, love the challenge. A must play course..

An hour into my drive I was wondering if I ever would find this place. 30 minutes later I entered into Scotch Hall Preserve and I got the feeling it was gonna be a special day!!! Wow the place is beautiful !! Beautiful scenery around a well laid out golf course presenting challenges at every turn. Greens were immaculate, fairways rolling and fast the rough sticky. The staff treated me like family, they were glad that I was there and everyone took pride in their establishment. Cart girl was classic Carolina girl sweet as pie with a beautiful demeanor that matched her smile.This is a must play even with the 1 and 1/2 drive. $25 on golfnow is a steal. It just get any better even if you have to drive for results.

Scotch Hall Preserve is a world class golf course. There is not a course anywhere that is in.better condition. This is a must play course if you like golf at a good price.

Only wish the course was closer, well worth the drive...

Fairways and greens in very good condition and well manicured. Great practice facilitates. Staff very friendly and pace of play was average. A great value for the money. Will definitely play this course again.

A little out of the way but worth the drive. People are very nice and facilities are fabulous. The addition of the gps screens are fabulous. The greens roll was smooth and true.

This is such a wonderful course. My first Arnie Palmer experience and it was fabulous. Make the drive, it is well worth it. I drove from Chester Virginia and will go back a couple more times, especially in the summer. The course was dormant in the fairways, but the greens are the best I have ever played.

The staff, the course and the grounds were just fabulous. You can also stay and play, as well as rent a cottage for the weekend.

They will be breaking ground on the clubhouse soon and that is just going to add to the allure.

Can't wait to go back!

Playing this course on golfnow on a hot deal is a steal. Make sure to get there early to utilize the practice facility. It is top notch. Only course I've played with a better practice facility is TPC Sawgrass. It is 18 solid holes of golf and a great test from the tips.

Could not ask for a prettier, well kept course. Weather was excellent around 72 degrees. Little windy as usual. Very long , kind of difficult. Got a deal on Golf Now. Saw only 2 others on the course. Think more people would play at lower rates.

Even with winter conditions setting in and a decent amount of raining few days before the course was in great shape and the greens fast and true. Few courses would I drive a hour and half for but this is it. The only disappointment I had was the grill after the 15th hole was closed and we were not made aware.

First time playing the course and it was excellent. Great fairways, fast greens and amazing views.

Course was in excellent condition. The greens were quick and required a look from all angles. The fairways were wonderful.

Being on the intercostal waterway gives you great vistas, but the wind will be a factor on almost every hole, can't wait to play again. Greens were in great shape.

I loved this course so much I played it twice in the same day. The practice facilities were top notch. The range was closed, but the putting green was in good shape and the practice bunkers and chipping areas were extensive and in great shape too.
There are 5 different sets of tees to choose from. There is plenty of sand and trouble to get into, but the course is certainly fair.
The tees, fairways, greens, and tough were all in very good shape. I'll definitely be back.
