A little out of the way but worth the drive. People are very nice and facilities are fabulous. The addition of the gps screens are fabulous. The greens roll was smooth and true.

This is such a wonderful course. My first Arnie Palmer experience and it was fabulous. Make the drive, it is well worth it. I drove from Chester Virginia and will go back a couple more times, especially in the summer. The course was dormant in the fairways, but the greens are the best I have ever played.

The staff, the course and the grounds were just fabulous. You can also stay and play, as well as rent a cottage for the weekend.

They will be breaking ground on the clubhouse soon and that is just going to add to the allure.

Can't wait to go back!

Playing this course on golfnow on a hot deal is a steal. Make sure to get there early to utilize the practice facility. It is top notch. Only course I've played with a better practice facility is TPC Sawgrass. It is 18 solid holes of golf and a great test from the tips.

Could not ask for a prettier, well kept course. Weather was excellent around 72 degrees. Little windy as usual. Very long , kind of difficult. Got a deal on Golf Now. Saw only 2 others on the course. Think more people would play at lower rates.

Even with winter conditions setting in and a decent amount of raining few days before the course was in great shape and the greens fast and true. Few courses would I drive a hour and half for but this is it. The only disappointment I had was the grill after the 15th hole was closed and we were not made aware.

First time playing the course and it was excellent. Great fairways, fast greens and amazing views.

Course was in excellent condition. The greens were quick and required a look from all angles. The fairways were wonderful.

Being on the intercostal waterway gives you great vistas, but the wind will be a factor on almost every hole, can't wait to play again. Greens were in great shape.

I loved this course so much I played it twice in the same day. The practice facilities were top notch. The range was closed, but the putting green was in good shape and the practice bunkers and chipping areas were extensive and in great shape too.
There are 5 different sets of tees to choose from. There is plenty of sand and trouble to get into, but the course is certainly fair.
The tees, fairways, greens, and tough were all in very good shape. I'll definitely be back.

The course super high quality and staff is just as friendly. Green fees would easily be triple what they are if it wasn't so far away from everything, well worth the ride!! Views of the sound throughout the course is awesome!

The course was a challenge while being very beautiful and extremely well maintained. The staff met me at my car and was very courteous. I'll be back ASAP.

I wanted to play a round on the Outer Banks during my recent vacation, but the crowds were ridiculous and green fees were worse. I got a tip at my hotel to take a drive over to Scotch Hall, an Arnold Palmer course 70 minute drive away. The time I spent driving I saved by completing a quick round, as the ranger kept everyone moving and the course was not very busy. I'm sure it was nicer than any of the courses in Outer Banks at at $55 including cart it was a great deal. Course was in great shape and challenging without requiring a huge drive.

Arnold Palmer did his usual outstanding job. Place is absolutely beautiful, fast greens, lots of sand and wind coming off the water. My favorite course bar none.

This is the best Palmer course in the area. Its past Edenton, NC but worth every minute.

Absolutely Beautiful!!!! Walked on a chilly afternoon and saw nobody else on the course. Great views of the sound on numerous holes and a fun challenging layout. Greens were in excellent condition, rest of the course was dormant, but still very playable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Unbelievable value for the rate you pay on GolfNow. Looking forward to my next trip out to Scotch Hall Preserve.

Awesome experience. Myself and three other buds traveled from Chesapeake VA to this location. Staff was super friendly. The preserve is still under development so the course was wide open for play. The layout was beautiful and the quality was pristine. Trip time was 1 1/2 hour but well worth the travel. Will definitely play this course again.
