Dating back to 1900, Winter Park Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in Florida. The course and clubhouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Despite being a nine-hole golf course, Winter Park Golf Course is not an ordinary pitch and putt. Known for its narrow, tree-lined fairways and postage stamp greens that are heavily guarded by bunkers, the golf course presents a formidable test to even the most skilled golfers. The golf course is ideal for golfers looking to sharpen their short game skills. Besides offering a challenging game, Winter Park Golf Course has extremely affordable rates that make it a great location for catching a quick round.

Very Undulating Greens
This course will really test your short game because the greens are very undulating and if you miss your spot run off will definitely occur.
You can’t grip it and rip it either you have to navigate your self around the course. It’s so much fun,
Simply beautiful but not simple
Classic muni 9-holer with enhanced design. It’s affordable, playable, walkable & delightfully challenging. In age of expensive golf, WP9 is a treasure in a leafy suburban neighborhood. With 4 street crossing, old cemetery on inside of dogleg Par-5 and commuter railway to west, WP9 is a burmuda-grass heaven with gorgeous rolling green surrounds & beautiful mature oak trees. Great vibe & golf for this avid golfing couple.
The way municipal golf should be
Short course with very interesting greens and bunkers. This course is all about your approach.
It weaves through the city of winter park and you almost feel like you’re in a city park with a golf course in it.
Incredible price and friendly staff. If you’re in the Orlando area, it’s well worth the trip.
Great Greens
Winter Park knows that if you have good greens you will have golfers. The greens are always in great condition. Love WP9.
Great value
Always enjoy a nice 9 hole walk. Course is always in great shape and a nice test even though it’s short. Pace is sometimes an issue due to poor etiquette of slow golfers, but certainly not the fault of the course.
The course was in pretty good shape. Fantastic undulating greens that will test your putting. Yardage on the short side. There was no water stations on the course, not even at the club house.
Awesome Experience!!
Played 9 rainy holes last week and had a blast. Such a neat little course, steeped in history. Excellent condition, except standing water in bunkers which cannot be blamed on WP9.
The holes along the cemetery and the train tracks added a cool vibe. Staff were super friendly and pro shop was well stocked with items to take home to remember a great day. $2 beers after we finished was just an added bonus.
Runch
Great experience for a relaxing round of golf. We rented pull carts and our walk was time well spent. The layout is fun and challenging, the greens were in great shape, and the second par 5 can ruin your round if you play it poorly. We plan on playing it more often.
