Dating back to 1900, Winter Park Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in Florida. The course and clubhouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Despite being a nine-hole golf course, Winter Park Golf Course is not an ordinary pitch and putt. Known for its narrow, tree-lined fairways and postage stamp greens that are heavily guarded by bunkers, the golf course presents a formidable test to even the most skilled golfers. The golf course is ideal for golfers looking to sharpen their short game skills. Besides offering a challenging game, Winter Park Golf Course has extremely affordable rates that make it a great location for catching a quick round.

Great 9-hole course with a few holes to use your woods or driver. Always in good condition and greens are challenging.
Winter Park Gem
If you want to experience golf the way it was then this is a hidden gem. Forget the bomb and gouge, this course requires you to plan out an approach and flight to the flag. The green complexes are very Pinehurst like and roll fast and true. Take your time, breath and enjoy a walk in the park.
Beautiful course next to a cemetery
I was really looking forward to to walking this beautiful 9 hole course after all of the Thanksgiving indulging. It’s a beautiful, well maintained course that passes along side stately architecture and a large cemetery. This was my first time playing adjacent to a cemetery. It caused me to consider my own mortality which was a slight distraction from my game. I would definitely play here again but, if cemeteries are not your jam then this is certainly something to consider.
Too good to be true
For 18 dollars you can play one of the best maintain ed courses in central Florida. Every time I play there I'm reminded how good it actually is. Firm breaking greens, but roll true
Great round, deceptively tuff course
maybe it is the very real thread of sending one OB and clanking an Audi, but this relatively simple and short 9 hole plays much more tough. Pace of play was acceptable, the price is right, conditions are nice. I only wish i could string together 9 good holes to make a proper score. I'll keep coming back for sure.
Winter Park 9 has great greens
Nice update of 1914 course. Greens well-defend mostly straight fairways. Everybody moves along. Fairways a bit thin here in November but good practice off tight grass lies
The fun begins when you get to the green!
This is the best 9 hole course in Florida! Not very long and plenty of birdies await ya, if you are on the correct side of the hole, do NOT short side yourself.
Staff is great, Pro shop is well-stocked and the atmosphere is 2nd to none. Could use a bar and snacks for the helmet required bomb shelter patio though. They are going to have to address a few of the tee boxes to avoid grass disappearing, i.e., #2 as it is hard to grow grass in a garage. The greens are always in good shape and the pace of play was perfect.
I still think #7 is the hardest 175-180 yards in golf!
Can't wait to play it again.
