Winter Park Golf Course
About
Dating back to 1900, Winter Park Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in Florida. The course and clubhouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Despite being a nine-hole golf course, Winter Park Golf Course is not an ordinary pitch and putt. Known for its narrow, tree-lined fairways and postage stamp greens that are heavily guarded by bunkers, the golf course presents a formidable test to even the most skilled golfers. The golf course is ideal for golfers looking to sharpen their short game skills. Besides offering a challenging game, Winter Park Golf Course has extremely affordable rates that make it a great location for catching a quick round.

Fun little Course
It was a sunny, slightly breezy day in the low 80s. The course is in excellent shape, the greens moderately fast, the rough generally not a problem. Overall a relatively easy course with a fun layout through part of the town. I walked with a cart, and the terrain is flat with no water hazards, some deep bunkers, and a few very low knolls, typically around the green. For a bogie golfer, it is fun to play and you can score relatively well unless you don't keep it in the fairway. If not, you play from trees, pine straw, and bunkers which can present a challenge. Worth the walk, for sure.
Too many big groups
Great course but no moderation of pace. I saw fivesomes and even spouses with baby carriages.
Course great - course management lacing
The pro shop let a single out between 2 foursomes. She played 2 or 3 balls on each hole. An extra half hour with hot weather on a walking course is Not acceptable!
Fantastic as Always
Truly a wonderful course to play. Some fairways under repair but well sectioned off and greens in Greer condition
Fun little course
The course is in the middle of the lovely city of Winter Park and takes through the neighborhood, by the cemetery, and along the railroad tracks. Other than the occasional train, first responder sirens, and local traffic the setting is very nice. The course is fairly easy and well taken care of. The day I played was very hot and there wasn't water stations along the 9 holes. The greens started slow due to the watering that just ended as we started, but got much quicker as the heat dried things out. the first tee was moved up to accommodate additional watering on the tee. It is a walking course, and I took two turns around the course, by the end of which I was ready for a cold drink. Outdoor seating only and drinks from the cooler inside. No food service. Great place for a relatively quick 9 holes (typically two hours or less) as a break in the day.
So Fun
I loved this course, friendly staff, great conditions, and an approachable course that is challenging around the greens.
Fun Round
Great 9 hole walking course. Great conditions and customer service
Nice 9 hole course
Fairways and greens were in good shape and quick.
Accuracy is important as there are many roads along the fairways. Will play again.
greens & collars are nothing like they were last year. if you look close, you can see many turf issues. let's hope super addresses these soon.
