About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

Amazing greens
I played this course about two years ago and it wasn’t in the best condition, I played it yesterday, and oh my goodness some holes look like Bay, Hill, and all the greens roll true, Sharon at the front desk is a wonderful nice lady.

Getting a little better constantly. Greens are a far cry from what they were before WP bought it...still bumpy , however. Might take a little while with that. Geo fencing and GPS on carts .
Always fun to play
We have been many times and always enjoy this course. It is in good shape .Greens we’re running a bit irregular, maybe needed a cut.People are super friendly and accommodating..m
Good value; good conditions
Very forgiving course in great condition compared to some others played on this vacation. Staff very accommodating and allowed my non golfing wife to cart ride while my daughter and I took turns walking. Definitively a course you should play more than once on a 2 week break away from the cold and snowy north
We have played this course before but will not be back. It's playable from any tee box but the fairways are soft and you get little roll on your drives. Course was pretty wet following a mild rain. Pace of play was slow. Four par 3s in a row on the back slow it down as well .
Great value great course
My wife and I played 18holes this week. The course was in good condition and the staff friendly and helpful.
The course is great for both good and moderately skilled golfers. My wife enjoyed the course as well. We finished in 3.5 hrs. I liked the course layout but think there should be less par 3s(5 on the back nine). On the other hand, the course allows for working on your short game. Par 3s are About 200 yrds or better. Since I didn't hit most of the greens with my driver , chipping and putting is important on the back nine. Fun course. Careful....keep the carts on the course or they will electonically shut dowen the cart which surprised me. A quick call to the clubhouse got me going again....electroncally!!
Just an okay place
The pro shop gent was sort of rude and made for a poor start. They have improved this place somewhat since the change of hands last year but the pace of play is still very slow. The fairways were okay, the tee boxes better and the greens decent. The bunkers were a disgrace. All in all I'd have a tough time recommending this facility.
Lot's of Fun
Really enjoyed our day here. The staff is helpful and a lot of fun. The course is short but very entertaining. Pace of play was perfect .. Will be going back.
