Great shape. Greens are fast and true. Tee boxes could use some work. There are a few fairways that have lots of slope. Would play again!

I’ve seen this course go from good (late 70’s) to very, very bad and back to better than before! The playing conditions are the very best it has ever been! Yes, it seems to be an unfair test but if you really look, it will test all aspects of your game! (Physical abilities to mental stability) LOL

Unlike many public courses you just can’t just “grip-it and rip-it!!! Play the sloping fairways and sometimes you’ll get rewarded and sometimes not! Patience is a virtue! It can look wide open but the landing areas are really kinda small!

The greens are a real test! Like most tough greens keep your approach shots below the cup and make an extra effort to miss the cup on the high side!

One more tip!

If ya play the right tees it will be a blast! They have many new teeboxes that will make it a fun day so pick your tees wisely!!

Have been played Bay View many years, witness the progressive improvements every year. The course is a little tricky to be honest, however I love the bargain of the play.

They added many new tee boxes, which in the end improved the pace of play. All bunkers have been renovated with freshly sands, which is hard to find on public courses.

Another thing I like is the grass range (Fri — Sun). If you are true golfer you know what I mean. It is really hard to find grass range in South Bay public courses.

Last but not least, the course offers YOC for kids. What a deal for next generation golfer!!

The course was well maintained, and the staff was friendly enough, but that's where the positives end. The layout of this course is just silly. Many of the fairways are on ridiculous slopes, and even the tee boxes are rarely on anything resembling level ground. Even if you hit a perfect drive to the center of a fairway, be prepared for your next shot to be a foot above or below your feet. There are several blind shots over hills that put the group ahead at risk, because you can't see if they're still on or not. For traversing the course, you have two options. Either walk it, getting a serious leg workout on the steep slopes, or use one of their geofenced carts, that will lock up on you once or twice every hole, because you crossed an invisible boundary.

We can not find ball easily because of the long grass. Need to be lawnmowering.

Played for the first time today and loved it. The course is beautiful and secluded. Challenging and fun, but not overly difficult. Range is awesome as well!

Only down side of today's round was the greens finishing up the necessary evil of aeration. Some of them were like putting through a light bunker. I'll forgive them though since I putted out of mind today lol.

You truly can't beat their early bird special of $50, cart included. Will be returning again soon.
