Love the layout but ..

1. Cart path only throughout hilly and uneven course causing very slow play

2. No ball cleaner at tee boxes. Found only a couple but without a towel

3. Overall too expensive unless you find deal time from Golfnow

Golf moose deal was great but...

Paying $50 for a cart (that I did not use) while receiving range balls and a $10 voucher to use in the restaurant was definitely the highlight of our experience. The cart although equipped with a GPS was a pain in the rear end for those I played with. With the rain came the cart path only rule, so I decided to walk it. Only problem was after the first hole there was no signs of yardage or direction on where the next hole or tee box would be. I will also add that the course doesn't drain well at all. I know that I expected quite a bit of mud but it was ridiculous when the irrigation seemed to cause even more problems than the downpour we've had over the past few days.

On a lighter note, the staff was pretty friendly as far as those who actually spoke, and the food was pretty good as well. Honestly I'm not sure if I'd play here again but it could be better with a few improvements. If I do play here it definitely won't be in the winter time, and I would never pay the $99 that they're asking for on the weekend.

Geofencing around carts is absolutely ridiculous and pointless. Will never play here again.

Good time

Course was in decent shape. Tee boxes a little rough on several holes, but for the most part all was good.

No ball washers and golf cart cuts out when in unauthorized areas (and I get it) but its kinda annoying.

Slow Play - Fast Greens

The pace was ridiculously slow. The course is overbooked. Full stop, that's a money grab.

We got through 8 holes and stood on the 9th waiting for 10 mins after 2:40 tee off! No exaggeration. Beautiful views of the valley if you're into taking pictures and not playing golf this is your spot.

Steady improvement

Course is getting better on every level. New tee boxes coming in on certain holes and the fairways are all taken care of. Course is still tough and narrow at times but fair and true. Only issue I had was that the course had punched their greens and didn’t notify golf now nor did anyone in the pro shop tell me.

Challenging Layout but Pricey

Second time playing BayView since new management took over and changed the name (used to be Summit Point)..

Course conditions are better than in the old days. Greens were recently aerated when we played but still rolled pretty good and looked like they would be pretty good. Fairways in the bare side - lots of patchy dirt spots and thin grass coverage plus some really muddy spots. Tee boxes ok but some were really mushy and muddy.

Overall our foursome enjoyed the round except for one asshat (another player, not a marshall/staff) that was yelling at us to pick up the pace because the threesome in front of us cleared the green while we were still teeing off on the 9th hole even though we were on a 1:45 pace for the front nine.

Our only issue was that $95 with cart is pretty steep for this course. $55 walking $70 riding would be a better price point. We would put it into our weekly rotation otherwise.

Weird greens and no perfect lies.

I haven’t play here for a very long time. The last time I played here it was called Summitpointe. First off the hitting range (iron only) seem to improved cuz you can hit on grass now. As for the course it still the same layout. Your tee shot might be good but your approach shot are always on uneven lies and can make your day into a frustrating outing. The greens are really tough to read and if you missed low the weird thing happens your ball be rolling down to the bottom. The worst part is majorities of these greens are straight set to kill your game. The front 9 seem to be a lot enjoyable than the back 9. The back 9 are much more narrower fairway and if you get windy day. Then from hole 15 to 17 is like hitting into topical storm like wind and hole 18 is just straight up ducks and geese poops heaven. I’m not sure why this course is are expensive than other course around them. If you want to challenge your game and play on uneven lies and uphill approach shot then this is the course for you.
