Edgewater Golf Club

First of all I have been playing this course for many years .. The rate was 80$ and by far isn’t a 80 dollar course . Everything was dormant , fairways were matted down some much basically hitting off the mud and dirt . The greens were so slow rolling like a 7-8 .. Ranger drives through while your In The middle of your swing , has no golf educate whatsoever. I wouldn’t recommend playing here . The price is way to high . In a sense of price gauging people to play . Honestly Place has really gone down hill and the rates keep going up . I won’t be playing here again especially for 80$.. Lancaster Golf glib is closer and 10x nicer and cheaper . Highly recommended not wasting you time , gas and money to play this course . I wouldn’t pay more than 40$ to play with conditions it is in. They are ripping people off . It’s a shame . Place has really gone down hill .

Great course drains decent alot of score-able holes also. The new clubhouse will be a huge addition

It's January so the fairways had many tight lies, but that's expected in winter. Perfect otherwise!

Another enjoyable round of golf at Edgewater especially since my first hole of the new year was a birdie. Unfortunately, that was the last one of the day. But I had an unusually good day with lot of pars on the greens that were in good shape. The whole course is in good shape despite the fact that it is January.

Despite playing in the rain by myself on the day after Christmas I had a great time. I play the course 2-3 times a year and each time I find upgrades. This time I found brush had been cut between some of the fairways. That leads to being able to find wayward shots and speedier play. Also sand in the bunkers appeared to be new - soft white sand. Bent grass greens are in excellent condition this time of year. New speed bumps on the cart path hills were welcome on the wet and slippery concrete cart paths. I rank Edgewater in the top 5 in the greater Charlotte area.

Friendly staff, nice but small store and cafe. The course was challenging, well laid out and maintained. The greens were in very good shape and reasonably quick. I would play this course again.
