About
Edgewater Golf Club has a peaceful setting tucked away in Lancaster. The course feels completely secluded with a layout that tumbles across rolling hills covered with a blanket of matures trees. The terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing the layout with dramatic elevation changes and plenty of water. In addition to the natural hazards, there are numerous strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. An abundance of wildlife also calls the golf course home, so don't be surprised if you see deer or turkeys roaming the course. One of Edgewater Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-4 seventh. This tricky hole is a downhill dogleg left that forces you to drive right-center of the fairway, followed by a tough approach to a green that sits on the bank above Fishing Lake Creek.

Highly recommend
This was my second visit. First off, great rate at $29 for 18 holes. Discounted due to aeration of greens, which I was told about prior to securing my start time. Folks in the pro shop were great! The lad that waited on me even offered to fill my cup with ice! The starter was very kind and personable and patient. Course is in great shape and challenging, at least for this 66 year old. Fairways like carpet. One or two lake views that were beautiful. Overall great wxperience!

Great Golf Experience
Beautiful course, friendly, professional staff. Truly a great golf experience. First time playing this course and couldn’t be more impressed with the design, conditions & staff friendliness. Rates were reasonable and pace of play was excellent. Will definitely be playing there again soon!

Great course
Wonderful staff and conditions.. This place needs a ranger to keep the players moving. It shouldn't take 30 minutes for a threesome to play a par 4. C'mon Edgewater, you can do better.

My favorite course in the area
Fun layout, challenging and is always fun to play. My only gripe is that I wish the drink card came around more often (if at all)

Great Experience
Our first time at Edgewater was a great experience. The staff was wonderful, the course was in excellent condition--greens, tee boxes, and fairways alike. Nice driving range. Pace of play was very good (under 3.5 hours), and the course is visually stunning, with water views. If this course were in a resort area it could easily command $100+ greens fees. Mine (with GolfPass) was under $35! Highly recommended.

Nice area
I really liked this course that has everything of challanges and nice fairways. Greens that was okej, but I wish that all golfers had mend their holes.

Beautiful course
Played here on Labor Day. Very hot day but fun nonetheless. This course has a nice combination of difficult holes but also easier holes. For example, the first hole is almost a drivable par four when playing from the middle tees but then there is a par 3 on the back nine that is 200 from the middle tees. So all in all a nice setup. I read some reviews about parts of the course not being as good as it could be and while there are a few spots here and there on a few greens that could use some work, I didn’t really think it affected anything or ruin the round at all. The only real gripe I have is where they put the clubhouse. It was so hot that I drank all my Powerade and wanted to get some more after 9 but the clubhouse is not anywhere near the course.
