About
Edgewater Golf Club has a peaceful setting tucked away in Lancaster. The course feels completely secluded with a layout that tumbles across rolling hills covered with a blanket of matures trees. The terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing the layout with dramatic elevation changes and plenty of water. In addition to the natural hazards, there are numerous strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. An abundance of wildlife also calls the golf course home, so don't be surprised if you see deer or turkeys roaming the course. One of Edgewater Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-4 seventh. This tricky hole is a downhill dogleg left that forces you to drive right-center of the fairway, followed by a tough approach to a green that sits on the bank above Fishing Lake Creek.

Excellent Course
Great course, great condition and excellent value. My only comment is; stay out of the fairway bunkers. Too much sand, ball stays on side of bunker and you cannot take a firm stance without slipping. It is a true penalty

Fantastic Shape
I play here regularly. The course is in fantastic shape. They are in the process of multiple upgrades around the course.
The greens are rolling perfectly.

Something to note
This was my first time playing golf, so my first time on the course. I was really looking forward to playing. However, I was not aware that on the course you are put in a team with random people and forced to play together. I wish that was something that was disclosed on the website. Because of this, I was not able to play. I was paired with two gentleman who are great players, but because I could not play as well, I pushed us behind, so after the first hole I stopped playing. This is a great place for people who are very sociable and look forward to meeting new people. It is not the course for someone like me who was just hoping to try to learn to play with my partner. The course was beautiful however, and despite not playing, I did have a wonderful time watching the others play and the scenery.

Great value. Enjoyable round.
Just enough trouble to make you think about club selection. Very short course. Except par 3s. Which made for a quick pace and enjoyable round.

Course Needs Water
The greens were in good shape, but the rest of the course needs watering. Fairway were hardpan and we almost needed hammers tees in the ground on the tee boxes.

Great Course
Great course. Very well kept. Sad to see the back 9 turning into houses aligning every hole. Front nine is still perfect.

Edgewater-normally a pleasure to play.
I have played Edgewater MANY times and it has never been so slow to play. Most par 5’s had four groups on the hole at one time. The course should dial back the amount of group it allows off at any one time.

This course is a gem
I found this course via a Google search. I had to drive almost an hour to play it but well worth it. I enjoyed everything about my visit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and I would certainly go out of my way to play again.

Fantastic Course
Edgewater is one of the best courses I've played in years. It is challenging but fun. We love golfing out there and hope to someday become members of the Golf Club we love it so much. I do not think there is a better golf course withing 50 miles of Edgewater. There are cheaper courses but they are not nearly as well maintained and to be honest, they are not that much cheaper either. This course is well taken care of year round and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone that wants a fun but challenging course. Play this course and it will ruin you for playing any other course in the area that is less than $75 per round.
