About
Edgewater Golf Club has a peaceful setting tucked away in Lancaster. The course feels completely secluded with a layout that tumbles across rolling hills covered with a blanket of matures trees. The terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing the layout with dramatic elevation changes and plenty of water. In addition to the natural hazards, there are numerous strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. An abundance of wildlife also calls the golf course home, so don't be surprised if you see deer or turkeys roaming the course. One of Edgewater Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-4 seventh. This tricky hole is a downhill dogleg left that forces you to drive right-center of the fairway, followed by a tough approach to a green that sits on the bank above Fishing Lake Creek.

Great track.
Course in pretty good shape. Fairways mowed a little to low.. Greens in great shape but difficult to read.

First time at Edgewater
so this was my first visit to Edgewater but will definitely not be my last. A great course, challenging at times, great condition, and some lovely esthetically pleasing holes. If only I could have played better but I can't blame the course for that. Pace of play was a bit slow but possibly more to do with one particular group a hole or so ahead of us.

In excellent condition
Even though Edgewater is a little out of the way coming from Charlotte this course is an excellent condition and well worth the hour Drive to go play. The staff is always friendly and the price you pay is very good for the course.

Well worth the drive
Fantastic layout which gives you a choice of tees that can greatly appreciate the difficulty of approach shots. From the back tees you well need every club in your bag!

Fantastic course! Pretty tight layout which makes this thing tough which is awesome! Elevation changes add to the fun along with some gigantic bunkers. Will definitely be back! The only downside was a slow group in front of us but no the courses fault on that.
