About

Edgewater Golf Club has a peaceful setting tucked away in Lancaster. The course feels completely secluded with a layout that tumbles across rolling hills covered with a blanket of matures trees. The terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing the layout with dramatic elevation changes and plenty of water. In addition to the natural hazards, there are numerous strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. An abundance of wildlife also calls the golf course home, so don't be surprised if you see deer or turkeys roaming the course. One of Edgewater Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-4 seventh. This tricky hole is a downhill dogleg left that forces you to drive right-center of the fairway, followed by a tough approach to a green that sits on the bank above Fishing Lake Creek.

excellent value in Lancaster, SC

You might go a bit out of your way to Edgewater in Lancaster SC but you will not be disappointed.

This is a great golf value for your $.

The course is exceptional. It's built along the Catawba River and many holes are right on the water.

What really makes this course exceptional are the elevated tee boxes on many of the holes.

There is a lot of changing elevation so you also have elevated greens as well.

Best public course layout near Charlotte

Always love this course. Such a fantastic layout with a mix of wide open and narrow fairways, elevation changes, opportunities and challenges. Sort of a difficult location to get to but always worth it. Most underrated course in the area in my opinion.

Great course!

This course has some tough holes but is definitely scorable with 5-Tee boxes you can find the yardage you're most comfortable with or the one that would challenge your skills to an enhanced experience....maybe.
