About
Edgewater Golf Club has a peaceful setting tucked away in Lancaster. The course feels completely secluded with a layout that tumbles across rolling hills covered with a blanket of matures trees. The terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing the layout with dramatic elevation changes and plenty of water. In addition to the natural hazards, there are numerous strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. An abundance of wildlife also calls the golf course home, so don't be surprised if you see deer or turkeys roaming the course. One of Edgewater Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-4 seventh. This tricky hole is a downhill dogleg left that forces you to drive right-center of the fairway, followed by a tough approach to a green that sits on the bank above Fishing Lake Creek.

Greens in terrible condition
The greens were all beat up from ball marks and people dragging their feet. It doesn’t look like they do any type of maintenance to the greens. I had a noon tee time so they shouldn’t have been that torn up early in the afternoon.
Very narrow fairways so you’ll need to hit good drives or you’ll end up in the woods on most tee shots.
Course has good elevation changes and fair distances
I went out solo and they paired me up with another single player and they made us ride in the same cart which is really annoying for 18 holes.
Worth the drive from Charlotte
Outstanding course. Challenging layout. 5+ Teebox options to fit all golfers. Playing from the tips is an absolute beast! Will definitely be back soon.

I love this course, its employees and the usual pace of play so much I drive an hour to get there. Unfortunately the pace was so slow today I gave up on the round mid way though.

Great course
Loved playing this course today. Highly recommend for anyone trying to find a well maintained course. For the price you can’t go wrong. Nice to get out of Charlotte and find this gem where is very quiet. Great job to the staff for taking care of the course so well. Couldn’t find a problem anywhere and course layout is good.

One Final Round?
Today was a nice day on a fine course.
Aeration 9/23, which takes at least two weeks to heal, so this might be my final 2019 round at Edgewater because I don't enjoy playing on dormant Bermuda.

Hidden Paradise
Don’t know what to say but WOW. The entrance coming into Edgewater is outstanding and the staff professionalism is superb. The golf course is worth the 1 hr. drive. The scenery featuring deers on some holes is excellent, but the tee box, fairways, and the true rolling greens put the icing on the course. I promise you want be disappointed. Worth the money.

I’ve played this golf course numerous times and each new time out it continues to get better and better. The course conditions are very good. The layout is a lot of fun and challenging. I would highly recommend playing this course right now.

Spectacular
Hands down my favorite place to play in the Piedmont area. The staff are always nice and the course is always in immaculate shape; was true in the late winter that I played and is still true playing yesterday in the tail end of summer. Challenging layout, lots of elevations changes and hazards to be aware of so arrant shots are punished but fairly. If you haven't been, do it. Carts are also gas powered which is pretty sweet - feels like a lawn mower

Wet but fun
Cart path only was a nuisance but getting such tremendous bite on the greens made it worth the aggravation

Great Course
I don't know why it took me so long to play this course. It is wonderful. The course is in great shape from tee to green. The staff is super friendly. I will be back again soon.
