Lake Chesdin Golf Club

Great course honestly one of the best in the area! The pace of play was slow for a few holes but Brandon was more than helpful polite and respectful. Most clubs shrug you off Brandon not only took the time but the accountability and expressed legit concern and offered real solutions. I truly love the course and the staff is just the cherry on top!

Overall, one of my favorite courses in the area!

The layout itself doesn’t make it challenging however, the rough is so bad that you can literally lose your entire club face in it let alone a ball!

Gorgeous scenery, immaculate greens, and tee boxes, stunning fairways and scenery!

Like I said though one of the best in the area overall!

I live closer to other courses but this is my go to. The course is in great shape. The pace of play is great and has a great layout.

The course was in good shape as always. The pace of play was great and the price was great thanks to the hot deal!

There was an accident on hall Street there was no access to the course except for the back that took an extra hour, and they still allowed to play and found a threesome for me to join up with. We had a great day and it just goes to show you how if you just put a little effort in customer service goes on the way I can’t wait to play this golf course again strictly because of that.

Pros:

Exceptional Conditions and Hole Routings!

Great Pricing and Fabulous Practice Areas.

Tees, Fairways and Greens were Lush & Green.

Cons:

Slow Greens... like Stimp@8.

Keeps them alive, but we missed several bird putts short.

Despite very good grooming, the Bermuda 2nd Cut Rough is over 3 inches deep and you WILL LOSE EVERY ERRANT BALL.

But, everything else was a Ten..

Course was in great shape from tee to green. The only sounds we heard during the round were the birds, and the fans drying the greens. I would definitely play it again if ever back in the Richmond area.

I've played this course almost a dozen times now and everytime its been a great experience.

This course was in great condition, with pristine fairways, challenging greens, and tee boxes in excellent condition for this time of the year. I have seen complaints about the fans and generators but honestly, with the recent heat, the fans are actually helpful in keeping cool when standing in the open on the greens. Just be aware of hidden traps and ravines that may not be visible to the naked eye, but if you use any phone apps or the maps on the scorecard, you can keep those in mind as you play. 10/10 for the value, conditions, and challenge.
